Dead Ceremony release pulse-pop title-single ‘Heartache’ along with the EP
Dead Ceremony is a four-piece from Tunbridge Wells Kent, made up of Christopher Stewart, David Trevillion, Neil Allen and Harry Pearce. Originally the solo-project of lead-singer and songwriter, Christopher, Dead Ceremony became an outfit and have cut their teeth releasing a steady run of acclaimed singles. They have honed their live show, including performing a sold-out debut London gig at St Pancras Old Church, playing to a full tent at the BBC Introducing stage of T in the Park, and supporting the likes of Wolf Alice and Sam Sure. A carefully delivered mixture of the digital and the organic make Dead Ceremony a special act to watch live, with a dynamic arrangement of beat driven dance tunes and fragile ballads.
America: The Beautiful Collaboration – Derek Brown (“BEATBoX SAX”) and Guests
Brown’s style evokes the magic of early Bobby McFerrin, as he creates dynamic effects with his saxophone that suggest percussion, strings and more, all done without looping or overdubbing.
In addition, Derek has just released a new music video, with a timely and positive message showcasing America’s diversity and collaborative spirit — The video, entitled ‘America: The Beautiful Collaboration,’ features over 50 saxophonists from around the country. Brown arranged parts for the iconic song, which the collaborators played and then emailed back to Brown, who pieced them together to create an emotionally compelling and resonant clip. He commented, “In this sharply divided time in our country, I wanted to put politics aside, showcase our diversity and celebrate the good things in our nation.”

Songwriters Behind Swedish House Mafia Hits Launch New Project VCATION & Debut Single “Lay Low”
The songwriters behind Swedish House Mafia’s “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Save the World” have launched their own creative project, VCATION, and their debut single is about to become your out-of-office anthem. Appropriately titled “Lay Low,” the track embodies that devil-may-care attitude which often accompanies vacation mode – complete with groovy, pop-inspired instrumental melodies and lyrics that are both inherently dreamy and ironic. From its opening notes, “Lay Low” gives you permission to press the “pause” button on real life and delve into a grand escape with lines like “nothing really matters, might as well watch the sun go down.” “‘Lay Low’ is about allowing yourself a break, a breath of fresh air and maybe just pulling the curtains down for a day. The world is f…d up, and we play a bit with irony in the song regarding the current state of society, and regarding ourselves and our own behaviours,” VCATION says about the track. “However, it can be kinda depressing, and without being ignorant to what’s going on in the world, it’s sometimes okay to just be and dream away for awhile.”
