Fullerton, CA punk/power pop trio Odd Robot have dropped a new single titled “” off their upcoming new album, “Amnesiatic,” due out August 3rd on SoCal-based Wiretap Records.

Odd Robot last released their debut LP “A Late Night Panic” in 2017 that triggered comparisons to Midwest staple bands like The Smoking Popes, Alkaline Trio, but with a West Coast flare.

In my household, I listened to a lot of Prince, Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, which are all artists that have influenced me vastly. By the late 90’s early 2000’s I started to find music on my own. Alicia Keys, Aaliyah, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Destiny’s Child, and TLC all became artists I listened to on the regular. I even branched out and was listening to more Hip Hop, especially any of the collaborations with Joe & G-Unit. Freddie Gibbs on Soul Assassins Records. Today he shares the second song that completes this chapter with DOOM which is the title track from the album feat. Kool G Rap, and is digitally by premiered via Madlib’s Rapcatts label. The song “Assassination Day” with G Rap follows the animated Muggs x DOOM video for “Death Wish” that dropped this past Wednesday.
