Trans-continental black/death metal outfit HISS FROM THE MOAT Signs With M-Theory Audio
HISS FROM THE MOAT – the Italian/US black/death metal band founded by acclaimed drummer James Payne (Vital Remains, Hour of Penance) – has signed with M-Theory Audio. The group is currently recording its second full-length album at Milan’s SPVN Studio for a planned early 2019 release. Sound/studio engineer Stefano Orkid Santi, who previously worked as live engineer for bands such as Origin, Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation, and produced the last Cripple Bastards album, is tracking all the instruments in his studio. Mixing and mastering will happen at Studio Fredman in Sweden.

Florence + the Machine unveil the video for “Big God” today—watch it, choreographed by Akram Khan and Florence and directed by Autumn de Wilde, here. “Big God” is the third track to be released from Florence + the Machine’s hugely anticipated fourth studio album High As Hope, out June 29 on Republic Records.
Says Florence:
‘Big God’ was written about that feeling when someone has not replied to your text, the modern phenomenon of ‘Ghosting’ which is one of my favourite words but not my favourite feeling. I was describing it to someone and they said to me ‘You need a big god’, as if the need in me were so cavernous, it would take something enormous to fill it. Probably something bigger than a text message.
It’s always been a very physical song. I saw a dance piece in my head as I was writing it, so to co choreograph something with Akram Khan was a huge honour. Autumn de Wilde fully understood what I was trying to do. The power of the desire within the void, left with yourself to rage and wonder and really it is yourself you are raging against. Not the ghost.

Today, Bermuda Triangle shared a new original song, “Till The End Of Days.” Vocalists Brittany Howard, Becca Mancari and Jesse Lafser shine on the tender track, which was written by Lafser.

Recorded with producer Will Yip at Studio 4 in Conshohocken, PA, THE HURT WILL GO ON finds Code Orange continuing their prolific assault, arriving closely behind the release of their Adult Swim Singles Series track, “Only One Way,” and its accompanying remix, “only1(the hard way).” Teasing the impending new EP, Code Orange launched The Hunt, an online game comprised of a series cryptic challenges through which winners could register to receive an unknown prize. This week winners received their prize, a custom Code Orange panther USB loaded with THE HURT WILL GO ON, two USB exclusive remixes from drumcorps and Arthur Rizk (Sumerlands, Eternal Champion), and the first installment of a multiple part documentary titled “My World.”
