Geographer Shares “Alone Together” Track On All Things Go

All Things Go has shared Geographer’s new single “Alone Together”. When talking about the track Michael Deni says, “The phrase “alone together” is so unwittingly poignant. It acknowledges the solitary nature of existence, and that all we really want is to be alone in the company of another isolated individual for comfort. It’s a very simple, bittersweet thing to say to someone. Many of my songs begin because I have something I don’t have the nerve to say to someone, so I write it into a song, with no intention of ever showing it to them, but just because a song is a perfect way to say something, and a text message is not. So at the end of a night of writing countless idiotic versions of the latter, I put down my phone and wrote this song.” Recently Geographer shared his single “Foolish” on The 405 and the video for his single “Read My Mind” on Earmilk.

London-Irish tropical indie quintet Bokito hit their irresistible groove again on vital new single, ‘Love Gotten’

Zeo Muñoz “Difícil de Entender”

The artist presents this single as the closing of the chapter of his album “No Se Lo Digan a Ella” and brings us a more Caribbean and Bohemian sound. “Difícil de Entender” has been his strangest song, as the artist describes it. “From the composition process to the production was an adventure that took me to many places where I left my sound and all this thanks to the technology and the magic of overcoming distances. It was in New York, Miami, Spain and Santo Domingo where I recorded all the music and these places left in the song airs of trova, a bit of bachata, flamenco guitar and even a bit of distorted electric guitar, “says the artist about the song.

Tommy Downs probes the perilous depths of our own narcissism in the shining disco-funk ride of ‘Superficial’

Produced by rising Decca Records star Rhys Lewis, ‘Superficial’ sounds like the brainchild of Nile Rodgers and Sade scoring a Boogie Nights sequel. Managing to tactfully balance its glossy velvet-toned nostalgic influences with a raw and stripped-back production approach, ‘Superficial’ sees Tommy Downs analysing the psychological perils of a generation addicted to selfies and social media. It’s all captured in the contradiction at the heart of its narrative: guy judges girl for taking a selfie with him, yet harbours a desire to see himself tagged in it the next day. Ultimately ‘Superficial’ navigates the complex, maddening, and circular logic of technological overthink by asking us if we’re even perhaps a little attracted to the idea of our own narcissism. Maybe the fact that we go into these things ambivalently makes us more woke anyhow? It’s three minutes of clever, concise and thought-provoking pop that puts Downs both sonically and lyrically on a standout path.

Felix Cartal Does It Again with “Walking By” ft. Iselin Solheim

Riding the hot streak of his recent single “Runaway” and the immense success of “Get What You Give” and its B-side “Hold Tight,” Felix Cartal has released another stellar track that will captivate listeners worldwide. On “Walking By,” Cartal partnered with singer/songwriter Iselin Solheim, whose vocals provide the perfect breathy foreground to his signature groovy, emotionally-stirring production. The breezy melodies and use of instrumentals give “Walking By” an organic vibe that seems appropriate for the serendipitous summer romance that the lyrics describe, while Solheim’s voice encapsulates the song’s wistful, “what-if” nature. “Walking By” and “Runaway” are just two of the eighteen new tracks on Felix’s forthcoming album, “Next Season,” which drops in May. Watch the lyric video for “Walking By” here (insert link).

New Video (Neo-Soul) – Lui Hill – Previous Support From 4 Of The Largest Spotify Playlists

In December, the track was added to the Apple Music Today’s Chill playlist, and followed by the remix by Fye & Fennek in January.

Now the second single, ‘Revolver’ is available offering a dark and yet uplifting tale of being stuck in a relationship or cycle that one feels desperate to escape, over a synth-based sound palette. The video is the 3rd in a series from Lui, and the story when put together makes a dark version of a classic fairytale.
