The Watchers, Premiere The New Video “Starfire”
San Francisco doom rock band The Watchers will release its new album, Black Abyss, March 9 via Ripple Music (Mothership, Wo Fat, BANG). Recorded in California’s Sonic Room Studios (Forbidden, Zed) and mixed by the legendary Max Norman (Ozzy Osbourne, Y&T), the record features eight tracks of heavy street-riff rock and is the follow-up to The Watchers 2016 debut, Sabbath Highway, an EP hailed as “the veritable creme de la creme of the modern stoner metal”.
GIGANTOMACHIA – ‘Liberate The Titans’
“Liberate The Titans”, single and lyric video by the Italian melodic death metal/epic metal band GIGANTOMACHIA, is out! The song anticipates the upcoming album “Atlas”, produced by Agoge Records.
Gigantomachia was born in Alatri (Frosinone – Italy) thanks to the bassist Lorenzo Barabba Suminier, who thus realized the dream of starting a Death Metal band. The monicker is linked to the legend of Alatri, the city of the Cyclopes, and to Greek mythology. After some changes, the current line-up is composed by Davide Angelo Pietrantoni (vocals), Lorenzo “Barabba” Suminier (bass), Alessandro Caponera (solo guitar), Stefano Severa (rhythm guitar), Nicola Frate (drums)
The line-up is still compact, strengthened by a solid live activity: the band has played in various Italian festivals, such as Rometal Festival 2017, Sinistro Fest and has shared the stage with Genus Ordinis Dei, Hellretic, Disturbia, Nebulae and with many other bands in the metal scene.

Bit Funk Releases “Getting Worse” featuring Oktavian on Physical Presents
To everyone who’s ever felt the irresistible, yet terrifying pull of a new love after being burned: Bit Funk and vocalist Oktavian feel your pain, and they have a song for you. The Canadian producer and Los Angeles-based vocalist teamed up for “Getting Worse,” a poppy, dance ballad that will speak to the bittersweet inner conflict everyone feels when learning to love again after heartbreak. Its subtle ’80s flair through disco-influenced melodies give the “Getting Worse” groovy report on the dance front, while Oktavian’s visceral deliverance of the very vulnerable lyrics give the song depth and relatability. “Getting Worse” stemmed from a personal experience of Oktavian’s that he and Bit Funk gave life to with a track. “BitFunk really found a perfect vibe in the track for the lyric and melody, which was written about a relationship I had in school a few years back… we were trying hard not to fall but the chemistry was so heavy!” explained Oktavian. “I’m super stoked for the audience to feel that sort of connection with this song and for it to do great things!” The release is out on Physical Presents, which also plays home to melodic maestros Felix Cartal, Bobby Love and others.
