The Cars Shake It Up And Heartbeat City Expanded Editions Available March 30
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame will induct The Cars in April, honoring the legendary band’s incredible musical legacy and enormous commercial success. Rhino will kick off the celebration early with expanded editions for two of The Cars’ most iconic albums – Shake It Up and Heartbeat City.
SHAKE IT UP: EXPANDED EDITION and HEARTBEAT CITY: EXPANDED EDITION will be released individually on March 30. Each album will be available on CD for $14.98, and as a double-LP set for $31.98. CHRCH: Sacramento Doom Bringers To Release Light Will Consume Us All This April
Light Will Consume Us All, the impending second full-length from Sacramento, California-based doom bringers CHRCH, is set for release this April via Neurot Recordings.
Standing at a crossroads of light and dark, CHRCH wields epic, lengthy songs, massive low end, and an occult vocal presence in a perfect blend of height and depth. CHRCH has been hard at work crafting their particular sound since late 2013. There is no image or campy gimmick to uphold, only the humble glorification of their fundamental musical elements.

Shannon & The Clams Debut New Album “Onion” via Noisey
Shannon & The Clams will release their fifth studio album, Onion, on February 16th via Easy Eye Sound and it is streaming now in its entirety via Noisey, who say “the band’s fifth album is a eulogy and tribute to the victims of the Ghost Ship fire, expressed through heartbreaking girl group-inspired melodies and doo-wop rhythms.” Shannon Shaw and Cody Blanchard of the band also spoke to Noisey about the influences behind the album and the process of recording with Dan Auerbach at his Nashville studio.

Formed in 2014, HELL TO PAY is a four-piece metallic hardcore outfit, containing within its ranks members of Jesus Piece and others from across the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley area. Alternative Rock Band VISTA Tease New Music
After an eventful 2017 for alternative rock outfit VISTA, the band has finally announced their first set of 2018 shows, as well as teased the completion of new music. Although they have seemed relatively off the grid since the completion of “The Oasis Tour” in November, VISTA has been in the studio with ZK Productions (Mayday Parade, Set It Off, Chapel) working on new material. The production duo, made of Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount, previously produced lead vocalist Hope Vista’s final solo EP in 2015. Although no official release timeline has been announced, the band has hinted that no new music will be dropping until later on this year. They will be returning to the stage in March, after recently announcing dates in NYC, Long Island, NJ, and Boston, some of their largest markets. In 2017, VISTA released their highly anticipated sophomore EP “Long Live,” played at Irving Plaza, gained idobi rotation with their single “Henchmen,” and completed two headlining tours.
Naked Giants Premiere ‘Everybody Thinks They Know, But No One Really Knows’ Video Today
Naked Giants are set to release their debut album SLUFF on March 30th, 2018. The 12-song set was produced by Steve Fisk (Nirvana, Unwound, Soundgarden) and is the Seattle trio’s follow up to their 2016 R.I.P. EP, whose songs Stereogum described as “…hulking behemoths that channel classic rock bravado into something blistering and immediate.”

LAPA of Emancipator presents transcendental new single
Russian-born violinist and longtime Emancipator member, LAPA [Ilya Goldberg] is once again stepping directly into the spotlight with Spirit Vessel, out February 16th on Emancipator’s Loci Records. Following up on his well-received debut Meeting of the Waters, Spirit Vessel kicked off on January 19th with lead single, “Stoika,” featuring West Coast multi-instrumentalist and singer Random Rab. Recorded over the last year and a half, Spirit Vessel is truly home made, using live instruments – drums and percussion, electric bass, violin, charango, mandolin, vibraphone and synthesizers.
