Skott Unveils Official Video For “Stay Off My Mind”
Today, the mysterious Scandinavian artist Skott shared the official video to her latest single “Stay Off My Mind,” the first single to be lifted from her EP of the same title. “Stay Off My Mind” is available everywhere digitally now via Sony Music Entertainment U.K./RCA Records.
Despite the uplifting feel of this track, “Stay Off My Mind” was written following the death of a close friend. “Ultimately it’s a song about missing someone so much that you’re living more in the past than in the present. It’s bittersweet because we can have such fond memories, but life goes on and sometimes having flashbacks can keep you from moving on.” Skott reveals.

DEATHAWAITS Announce “French Psycho Tour” Dates
French Death/Thrash/Hardcore group, DeathAwaits, have announced the first of their 2018 “French Psycho Tour” Dates which will see them take the stage along with the bands Karma Zero, Gohrgone and Slaughterers. This will be preceded with their appearance at the Amarok Metal Festival in Nantes on March 9th. The band are currently on the hunt for a new drummer but the upcoming dates will have the seat filled by talented session player Tommy Bonnevialle and rest assured, the band will still seriously kick-ass. FORECASTLE FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2018 DAILY LINEUPS
The Forecastle Festival, led by Chris Stapleton, Arcade Fire and Modest Mouse, will offer General Admission, Yacht Club and VIP single day tickets beginning Thursday, February 8 at 10 a.m. ET. The three-day music celebration, embarking on its 16th year at sea, will take place July 13-15, 2018 at the award-winning Waterfront Park, a sweeping green space on the banks of the Ohio River framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville, KY.
A limited number of single day General Admission tickets will be available starting at only $69.50 plus fees. Single day VIP tickets, as well as the newly-introduced Yacht Club ticket option, will also be available to single day buyers.

Boston Ballet Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen announces programming for the 2018–2019 season at the Boston Opera House. Nissinen’s The Nutcracker returns to enchant audiences with its beloved characters and brilliant dancing. Jane Church Premieres “Rocket To The Kremlin” via Atwood Magazine
Jane Church is an American band from Queens, NY formed in April 2017 as the solo recording project of singer-songwriter Jackson Church. Jane Church released their first single “Demolition USA” digitally in June and in late summer, recorded their debut LP “Calimocho Molotov!” in three days. Jackson aimed to make “Calimocho Molotov!” a record that functions as “the embalming fluid for a dead style of songwriting” and describes the album’s genres as “Beatlegum” and “Janitor Rock.”

On the backstory behind the video’s concept he continues. “This song is so close to me, so it was important that visually it was represented in a way that felt exactly like the sentiment. I was in a toxic relationship that I felt bound by. There was most definitely love and passion but at a certain point it became completely co-dependent and the comfort was the most toxic part of it.” Parson explains. “I came to Dano and told him I wanted to act as sort of a ghost in this situation that was dwindling and that the ultimate sentiment should be one of finding the strength to leave something so familiar, in order to find yourself or that piece of you that has been stunted in growth.”

MGMT RELEASE VIDEO FOR NEW ALBUM TRACK “ME & MICHAEL”
Today, MGMT released “Me & Michael” accompanied by a narrative based music video directed by Joey Frank and Randy Lee Maitland. The video tells the story of MGMT being moved to steal a song written by Filipino band Truefaith, a theft leading to a rise of unprecedented success followed by an accusation of plagiarism and a crashing fall. When the band puts their heads together and decide to ask for forgiveness, they contact Truefaith – who are actually an established rock band from the Philippines and who recorded a version and video called “Ako at si Michael” for this little MGMT stunt. Yahoo! Music Premieres Video for LIVVIA’s ‘Catch A Body (feat. Quavo)’
