Ethan Gruska Announces U.S. Tour With Lucius

The Devil Makes Three Announces 2018 North American Tour

The Devil Makes Three has announced an extensive North American tour for 2018 with tickets going on sale this Friday, November 10. The 23-show run will kick-off in Madison, WI on January 10 and hit major cities throughout Canada and the American Midwest, Northeast, and Southeast, ending in Dallas, TX on February 10. Last year, the internationally beloved, Americana trio released Redemption & Ruin on New West Records to critical acclaim. The album is a thoughtfully curated collection of covers that pays tribute to its versatile genre’s staple players and the band’s most penetrative influences. Divided into two sides, the subjects of “redemption” and “ruin” are explored through various songs written by blues, roots, and rock legends like Tom Waits, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Townes Van Zandt and more. BARENAKED LADIES music video premiere “Lookin’ Up”

Barenaked Ladies unveiled their new music video for the song “Lookin’ Up” exclusively on Rooster Teeth’s channels today. The track is the first single from BNL’s forthcoming album FAKE NUDES out on November 17th via Vanguard Records. Set on a deserted Island, the video finds the Ladies marooned and attempting to survive in true BNL style echoing the song’s message of hope and optimism. “Lookin’Up” was directed by long-time collaborator, co-founder and CEO of Rooster Teeth, Matt Hullum. HOUSTON’S KID EVO DITCHES DEAD WEIGHT CHICK IN “GOODBYE LIANA”

What do you do when you’ve given a relationship all you’ve got and get nothing but complaints in return? Bounce of course, and Kid Evo dedicated an entire song to that very subject. On “Goodbye Liana”, the title track to his forthcoming release, the lovelorn Evo just can’t get any support for his career of choice or the sacrifices he has to make to keep the dream alive. Alas, his nagging other half must become yet another sacrifice on the road to self-actualization, freeing him up for the grind.

Brass Box presents their video for “Moonlight Desires”

“Moonlight Desires” was originally written by Laurence Gowan, a Canadian pop star from the 80s who now fronts the band Styx. The track was released in 1987 under his solo project Gowan. After discovering the music video for the song was filmed onsite at Teotihuacan (Mesoamerican pyramids) in northeast of Mexico City, Brass Box felt the need to record a cover fo the track, as an homage to the native Canadian and the pyramids (especially after Ammo developed a slight obsession with Teotihuacan after visiting in mid-2013).

L.A. Salami Unveils New Track “Terrorism (The Isis Crisis)”

This youthful London-based troubadour L.A.Salami marks his return today with a brand new track, the provocatively but nonetheless pertinently titled Terrorism (The Isis Crisis) replete with accompanying animated video aligned to the lyrical content of the song.

As he says succinctly; “I think the video and song are pretty self explanatory. If it’s not, well, key words to consider would be ‘irony’ , ‘hysteria’ and ‘consequence’.”

Ash Cooke (guitar/vocals) and Charlie Clark (drums) originally met at a ceramics evening-class, but it wasn’t long until they had begun spending their evenings recording together in a shared house in the east of the city. The line-up was completed by synth player James Cunning (a customer in the café Clark was working at) and bassist Patrick Burley (a mutual friend they tried to impress through repeated gig invites)

NSTASIA shares new song produced by Skrillex

Haitian-American singer/songwriter NSTASIA shares her latest song “Parachute” from her upcoming debut New Religion EP out November 17. It was produced by Skrillex, who asked to be apart of the song upon first hearing it. It further showcases NSTASIA’s undeniable skill as a songwriter and ability to create indelible songs, positioning her as one of tomorrow’s most promising new stars. SXSW Music Festival Announces Next Round of Artists

The South by Southwest® Music Festival (SXSW®) has announced another round of artists invited to perform at the 2018 event. Each year the SXSW Music Festival hosts a select mix of new, up-and-coming, international, and legendary artists from multiple genres. The festival is the destination for all who share a passion for creativity and new music discovery: industry professionals and influencers from the worlds of music, tech, and film; international media; and music fans. The SXSW Music Festival’s 32nd annual event takes place on stages around central Austin from Monday, March 12 – Sunday, March 18, 2018.

Spafford Announces ‘For Amusement Only’ Winter 2018 Headlining Tour

Today, Spafford has announced 17 new dates for their ‘For Amusement Only’ Winter 2018 Tour. The tour starts on January 11th in Minneapolis, Minnesota, kicking off a 4-night run across the Midwest that will also see the band hit Milwaukee, WI; Detroit, MI; and Cleveland, OH. Following this initial string of shows, Spafford heads east, headlining venues in Pennsylvania, New York, Rhode Island, and New Jersey for the Northeast leg of the tour. After a performance in Washington D.C. on January 25th at Union Stage, the group sets its sights southward. After one-off performances in Raleigh, NC, and at Atlanta’s Terminal West, Spafford will bring their ‘For Amusement Only’ Winter 2018 Tour to Florida, with dates in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.
