LIL DICKY shares “short film” for “Pillow Talking”

Lil Dicky has released his “short film” for “Pillow Talking” off his chart-topping debut album ‘Professional Rapper.’

Clocking in at over eleven minutes, it’s more of a cinematic experience than a music video, one that needs to be seen to be believed. What starts off as a polite conversation between Lil Dicky and his one night stand, ends up evolving into a hilarious – and yet deeply existential – debate concerning the existence of aliens and God (played by John C. Reilly), the extinction of the dinosaurs (with animation from the same team that did the last Jurassic Park film), and the morality of carnivores. Not to mention, a fully animated representation of Lil Dicky’s brain (Brain is also the featured artist on the track). The other pretty incredible fact about the video is that it’s the 49th most expensive video of all time. Artists just aren’t making music videos this expensive anymore, especially indie artists…it’s pretty epic…

THRILLERS Release Sweaty New Video For “HEAT”

“Heat” is the sleek lead single off THRILLERS forthcoming album “Break Free” (Lights & Music Collective, April 28), and they’ve got the video to match it. THRILLERS have managed to merge their fascination with contemporary art and the LA club scene in the form of the hypnotic and pulsating video for ‘Heat.’ Taking cues from fashion-forward artists like Grace Jones, THRILLERS invite us into a psychedelic and sexual world. Soaked in red, the video alternates between the erotic and the esoteric; a sensual dancer is juxtaposed by the duo’s stillness as they appear intertwined together, cloaked in black foil, or caught behind an opaque but seemingly impenetrable wall.
