ACES shares stunning new cinematic video for “Baby, I Don’t Mean To Ignore”
The cinematic video was entirely created by ACES’ own Alex Stewart and her video team, Alex Munro and Oresti Tsonopoulos. The latter being her husband, the two went out documenting their date night in the city. The footage wasn’t even intended to become a music video, but as Stewart explains, once she started going through the footage, the concept for the video came to mind. In her words, “I love the motion in driving and walking scenes and that’s where I tend to do my best thinking. The song was an idea I had about a person in their most vulnerable moment. Some time before they’re in a relationship or before they’ve even decided what they’re going to do about their feelings. They’re really mulling things over. The video took shape from those images and I think you get the sense that this is a girl on a mission. She’s ready to make her move.”

Multi-instrumentalist Jenny Logan, aka Deathlist, grew up in central California and at age 13, she was forbidden to speak. After a long year of silence, she ran away in the middle of the night, moved to New York City, and started playing in bands. At first Jenny was too shy to face her audiences, and refused to speak into a microphone. Only after years of touring and playing in other peoples’ projects — including My Teenage Stride, Mortals, World Atlas, Ribbons, and Summer Cannibals — was she able to quietly reassemble the voice that was silenced as a girl. The assemblage is Deathlist.
