“Stuck in the Middle” is about that place between exclusivity and friendship that this generation increasingly finds itself in.

The song takes the perspective of a guy who believes the girl he’s seeing wants commitment that he isn’t ready for. As the song progresses, he sheds his “player” persona and realizes that he actually does want exclusivity. The last verse finds him confessing his feelings to her–fully expecting her to reciprocate–when to his surprise, she’s the one who isn’t ready to commit.

Nancy Wilson of Heart and Liv Warfield Form New Band ROADCASE ROYALE

Nancy Wilson, one of the founding members of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group Heart, has teamed up with former Prince band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form a new super group called ROADCASE ROYALE. The sound of ROADCASE ROYALE is muscular rock with some R&B/Blues and in depth ballads thrown in, reflecting the iconic sounds of both their respective bands. ROADCASE ROYALE’S debut song is available to stream now via the band’s Soundcloud page. US Release of Critically Acclaimed Animated Blockbuster Your Name.

Funimation Films will open Makoto Shinkai’s animated blockbuster and global pop culture hit “Your Name.” in North American theaters on April 7, 2017. The film will be released in both English-language Dub as well as the original Japanese-language with English subtitles. SINNER SINNERS Confront Alcoholism with New Track “Last Drop”

Classic rock, hardcore and punk-influenced group SINNER SINNERS recently announced the upcoming release of their thirdfull-length album, entitled Optimism Disorder, out March 7, 2017 via Cadavra Records. Optimism Disorder follows 2014’s aggressive Nic Jodoin-produced (Black Rebel Motorcycle Club), XI, but is further influenced by the intensity of early ’80s hardcore fused with an incendiary ’70s goth punk ethos.

Since moving from France several years ago, founding duo Steve and Sam Thill have witnessed the blatant hypocrisies of Hollywood first hand, and a good portion of Optimism Disorder dissects those specific observations, as well as perceptions of society as a whole. While the first track released from the record, “California”, paints a picture of Hollywood “smoke and mirrors”, their newest offering, “Last Drop”, focuses entirely on the passive justifications and eventual guilt of an alcoholic.
