Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum selling DJ/producer Steve Angello drops his debut solo album Wild Youth today in its entirety via his own SIZE Records label, which debuted as the #1 dance album on iTunes in over 40 countries. The highly personal album honors Angello’s desire to make music true to his own vision. The LP also puts forth a collection of beautiful videos for every song and a visual art element inspired by the project to roll out in the coming weeks. In celebration of the release, he has released a compelling new music video for “The Ocean,” which was directed by esteemed and highly innovative director, Filip Tellander, and features the well-known Swedish heavyweight fighter, Ilir Latifi. NPR also picked the track as a “Songs We Love” and said, “It’s refreshing to see Angello explore deeper cuts and textures, rather than low-hanging fruit. With ‘The Ocean,’ he’s onto something more lasting.”
