WILLIS EARL BEAL NEW SINGLE
Willis Earl Beal was born on the South Side of Chicago. He would never consider it home. An odd kid, he spent a lot of his youth talking with his grandmother, who would entertain his endless questions about the universe and encourage his love of drawing. He developed an obsession with Batman that would last well into his teenage years, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army as a form of vigilante training.
Willis Earl Beal died on an army base in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. After a rocky TK weeks of boot camp plagued with physical and mental abuse, health complications (which would later require surgery and the removal of large portions of his intestine) forced his discharge. He moved back home. “When that all broke down,” Beal says. “I lost a piece of myself.”

JERROD NIEMANN BREAKS COUNTRY THUNDER ATTENDANCE RECORD
Fans are clearly clamoring for more from Jerrod Niemann, as he helped draw a record crowd at Country Thunder Festival in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin the same week he set a personal milestone at country radio.
The Kansas native joined with other country stars to spur an attendance record at Country Thunder when 34,182 fans attended Thursday, the first day of the festival. Niemann is on the road the rest of the summer playing select festival and solo dates.

The latest from Ukranian label Dear Deer Records is an unforeseen and imaginative collaboration between the former Culture Club lead singer, Boy George and Vanilla Ace, ‘Just Another Guy’. With help from Katerina Themis on vocals the production duo have created an infectious track set to have an impact this summer.
Having previously collaborated with Boy George on ‘Retrophobia’ Katerina’s soft vocals float along the deep basslines and help create a soulful sound alongside the melodic piano and chord strings. By coming together Ace and George have showcased their versatility and skill in making something unlike their usual production but still set to appeal to their respective fans.

NEW EP BY HALF JAPANESE
One of the most influential bands in rock history, Half Japanese was founded by brothers Jad & David Fair in the mid-1970s and is credited with pioneering the DIY and lo-fi movements. They were known for dismissing conventional music basics like melody, song structure, and chords, and influenced everyone from Sonic Youth and Neutral Milk Hotel to Daniel Johnston and Kurt Cobain (who asked the band to open some of the dates on Nirvana’s In Utero tour).
