New York-based singer and songwriter Greg Holden has announced he will be joining blues rock band Vintage Trouble on their fall tour in the U.S., starting with the Minneapolis, MN show on September 12 and continuing for 16 other dates through October. Just prior to that, he will play at Lightning 100’s Live on the Green music festival in Nashville, TN on September 3, as well as a special Communion NYC duo performance at Rockwood Music Hall on September 9. Tickets for all shows are on sale now, with more information at GregHoldenOnline.com.
Holden is touring in support of his major label debut album Chase The Sun, featuring single “Hold On Tight” as well as the incredibly moving “Boys In The Street.” The song was chosen just last week as Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 World Record, with Lowe saying, “Once a year, if you’re lucky, you get one song that comes along that really reaches people… coming out of Aberdeen, you’ve got this artist called Greg Holden who’s released this song, which does just that. So you should listen.”
