GRUESOME NEW SINGLE

Channeling inspiration from one of death metal’s most revered, founding American acts, Death, into their own mangled interpretations, GRUESOME’s impending Savage Land debut is a delightfully horrid slab of late-’80s/early-’90s Florida-styled death metal created in homage to the late Chuck Schuldiner’s early masterworks. Uniting members of Exhumed, Possessed, Malevolent Creation, Derketa and more, with Savage Land, the collective is humbly determined to keep the sound and spirit of Death alive as sincerely and authentically as possible.

BLACK BARON SHARES NEW SINGLE VIA EXCLAIM!

There’s an intoxicating feeling inside Hamilton, Ontario, and Black Baron has managed to distill the essence of that feeling into a potent brew. In the same way that the films of David Lynch are sewn together from the fabric that holds together dreams, Black Baron creates songs from the fabric of Hamilton. While the local hardcore scene has been cutting records reminiscent of the city’s steel mills since the early 1990’s, Black Baron, a band comprised of some of the city’s hardcore elite, creates the soundtrack to a different side of the city.

JEP ROADIE SPEAKS ON NEW SINGLE

“I have grown up a lot over the last year. I’m over the bullshit. You wont catch me “turning up”. I do mostly everything in moderation. I cut my drinking down to almost 0. Transitioned from several blunts a day to a bowl pack or two. Stopped smoking cigarettes, thank the lord. As life became better, I became more restless. There is a continuous feeling of impending doom. A feeling of un-fulfillment. We will never know when we are going to die. I learned to face it. Some of us never really live. I am not scared of dying. I am afraid of dying before I can leave my legacy. I am afraid that the people I care about will suffer. I am afraid of not being there for them. I am afraid of dying and being worthless. I wrote this song to try and cope with that feeling. It didn’t bring me much relief in the long term but when I am listening to the song, I feel my purpose. We all want to know what people really think about us. We all want to be able to come back from the dead and see our impact. Unfortunately, we cannot. But we can write songs that may live forever. I’ll just leave it in the hands of the lord. I’m going to smile til’ I feel alright. Bless.”

UNDER PARIS ALBUM STREAM

After two successful independent releases, metalcore outfit Under Paris have partnered up with Under The Gun to exclusively premiere their Imminence Records debut full length, entitled Transitions. The album, which may be heard HERE, blends many elements of present day metalcore with the nostalgic, melodic songwriting of “golden age” Victory Records-era bands. The result is a catchy, heavy trip that satisfies from every angle. Vocalist Michael Alexander shows his excitement to see the band’s hard work over the past two years pay off by saying, “For the last two years we’ve all made sacrifices to keep pushing ourselves and the band to that next level and reach our goal of being signed, now that we’ve found a home with people who believe in us it’s time to make some new goals and keep pushing!”
