Tropic Of Pisces, the new project from Mathew Scheiner, will release Symmetry on May 13th, both digitally and on a limited 10″ vinyl pressing via Ooh La La Records. The entirely self-recorded album was mixed by Grammy winning engineer / producer / father, Elliot Scheiner, famous for his work with Beck, Steely Dan, Flaming Lips, and Fleetwood Mac. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Matt, former guitarist for Oberhofer, splits his time between touring and collaborating on various other music projects like Mon Khmer and Superhuman Happiness.
The four tracks that comprise Symmetry display Scheiner’s flair for composing zesty, sophisticated pop music. With hints of tropidelica, funk, and electro-pop, Tropic Of Pisces has crafted a sound that gets the dance floor blood pumping.
