BRITNEY SPEARS COMIC BOOK!

Britney Spears is the subject of a new one-off comic book courtesy of Bluewater Productions Inc.’s ongoing Fame series.   Fame has profiled celebrities in the past such as Lady Gaga and actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.   The Spears comic will focus on her rise to stardom, her documented private life and her efforts to be understood.   The 32-page issue, illustrated by Ricardo Jaime, is out now in comic book stores and online retailers.

Writer Patrick McCray released the following statement about Spears: “She is far more complicated than most people realize. No matter what preconceptions you have about her, there will always be more layers and surprises.   Beyond the performer, there is a real human being there, struggling for a real life, struggling to connect with her art, and struggling to be understood.”

They’ve merged. Everyone listens to rap. I think it’s all the same thing.” Visit Billboard.com for more.
