Sambassadeur has just released “Stranded,” their second single from their forthcoming album “European” due out February 23rd on Labrador Records.
The band has received some great coverage from outlets such as All Music, Pop Matters, and Blog Critics. While Pitchfork has this to say, “Her (lead singer, Anna Pearson) voice often seems more typical of shoegaze or introverted folk than 1980s-cribbing pop, but she strikes the right note of dreaminess and cool drama in Sambassadeur’s songs.”
