New Music // Martha Hill ‘Wallflower’
After the success of her debut single and support slots for Let’s Eat Grandma, Mahalia and Maximo Park, Newcastle’s Martha Hill previews the gritty follow-up ‘Wallflower’.
Highlighting themes of conformity and social anxiety, Hill narrates the cleverly-crafted, alternative track by discussing the idea that even the most obvious extroverts have introverted tendencies. As an inherent storyteller, Hill’s songwriting ability is captivating, explaining further: “Wallflower is a tongue in cheek song about how every person is made up of many different characters that they invent for themselves”.

Robert DeLong Releases Video for “Revolutionary”
Robert DeLong said, “Filming this music video was one of the most fun experiences I have had working on a music video. The crew and vibe were great, and the set and use of lighting and lasers were next level. I wanted to capture the energy of my live performance, along with showcasing some of the new technology I use (i.e. the laserharp), all while maintaining a strong connection to the lyrical themes of the song. The graphic overlays, the costumes, and the overall aesthetic all contributed to making this a very exciting video to watch!”
