Alina Baraz has shared her latest song “Feels Right” accompanied by a video directed by Alina herself. The track marks her first new single since her highly-anticipated project The Color Of You dropped in April, which has been streamed over 361 million times across all platforms. The new song’s title and lyrics are a straightforward expression of sticking with your gut even if you’re not totally sure. In Alina’s own words:
“‘Feels Right’ is about giving in and losing yourself in the moment. I wrote and recorded this song in the same day and it’s really special because it’s a demo. We tried to re-record it but it felt like it was against the grain of what the song is supposed to stand for. This is a living personification of my conscious and thoughts as reflected through the hectic highs and lows and me just saying fuck it and embracing these moments.” – Alina Baraz
