Gone Away is one of the first songs that was written for the record and we think it encapsulates our journey both personally and musically in this period of our lives. It’s influenced by radical transition, the ache of change, and the excitement of new beginnings. It’s an internal Odyssey of sorts. The thunderous base that the drums and bass lay down, strengthen the impact of the light guitar lead and pleading vocals. The anthemic chorus calls out for purpose, while the final climax gives way to riff heavy jamming that leaves the listener in the shoes of a hero who’s on their way to a most uncertain fate.

Jackie Cohen Releases Debut EP Today
Recording artist Jackie Cohen released her debut EP Tacoma Night Terror Part 1: I’ve Got The Blues today via Spacebomb. The EP was produced by Jonathan Rado, Brian D’Addario, & Michael D’Addario, who also serve as the backing band behind Cohen’s vocals. Cohen describes the EP as being a “perfect little encapsulation of the year I started experimenting with songwriting, and of the home-studio summer camp period when Michael and Brian basically lived in my garage. There’s something really special about the setup Rado was running at that time, and everyone had this bright, fresh, exciting energy that I think really comes out in the recordings.”

French duo The Blaze have today announced the release of their debut album Dancehall, due out September 7th on Animal63/Sony Music U.K./RCA Records. The duo also offers fans another taste from Dancehall today with the release of “She.”
Not be confused with the sound specific of the Jamaican genre, Dancehall is instead a tribute to the scene itself which originated in the 1940’s. The dance hall was created from a desire to simply come together and party, at a time when the only way to listen to your favorite artist was to come together in such a way. This was a place where people lived, loved and danced.

Platinum-selling artist, DJ, and producer Dillon Francis today dropped a music video for “Look At That Butt” (feat. Jarina De Marco), the fourth single off his forthcoming Spanish language studio album, due out later this year via his own IDGAFOS record label.
