Austin, TX’s psychedelic dance-pop innovator Ty Richards, is pleased to share his video for the critically acclaimed single “Spaceman.” directed by Ty Richards and Steven Gunter.
The track will appear on Zillion, his debut full-length album. Available February 3, 2017, Zillion brings a trippy blend of infectious grooves with super-addictive hooks that keep the record spinning long after the music is over. Active Bird Community premiere coming of age inspired garage pop track “Newbie”
When four 11 year olds started a band in 2005, nobody—its members included—knew what to expect. Over 10 years later, Active Bird Community continues to enliven the stage with their sprightly slacker vibes reminiscent of 90’s indie rock. While members Tom D’Agustino, Andrew Wolfson, Zach Slater, and Carter McNeil were young and experimenting with their sound, early listeners sensed something teeming beneath the surface. In the years since, they’ve released 2 full length albums and played hundreds of shows to adoring fans and delighted newcomers alike. In that time, their sound has gone under numerous revisions—not out of necessity but out of a tacit refusal to stagnate or sound like anything else. As the members matured, fell in (and out) of love, moved around and made their own way, the lyrics and arrangements of each song reflected both the harmony and the discord that comes with growing up in New York. Though, as anyone who’s seen them live can tell you, their music is so infectious you can’t help but lose yourself right along with them.

BRIELLE Releases New Single, “STUCK”
“STUCK” is the latest single to be released from BRIELLE’s debut self-titled album, “BRIELLE”.
“STUCK” was written by Kim Moeller and Shelby Morris. “I fell in love with the song, the moment I heard it. Experimental Artist Moonlapse Drops Debut Single Off Third Studio Album
Today, virtuostic and genre-bending musician Ben Strick (Moonlapse) releases “Dark Root Omen”, the debut single off of his soon to be released third studio album, Viridis. “Dark Root Omen” can be viewed as an illuminating flashback before the epilogue of the Viridis story arc. The track is meant to give the listener an idea of what actually happened in the past to cause whatever happened during the course of Viridis. The title for “Dark Root Omen” was inspired by one of Moonlapses’ favorite areas in any video game, which is the Dark Root Garden in Dark Souls. “The whole idea of the story was given to me, actually, after seeing the amazing artwork painted by Duncan Storr which can be seen on the Viridis album cover. If you want to extend the meaning beyond just fantasy and apply it to our world, it can be looked at as the idea that maybe one day, nature will take back the world from us due to how we’ve treated it. That prophecy would be the dark root omen,” proclaims Strick.
