DAVIDO RELEASES NEW VIDEO FOR “GBAGBE OSHI”
Born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Nigeria, 23-year-old Davido (real name David Adedeji Adeleke) has always infused his Nigerian roots into his music and has been a major force in helping to cross over Afrobeats music globally. The singer/songwriter/producer chose to chase his music dreams after giving college a try, first releasing his Afropop crossover hit “Way Back When,” which planted him firmly in the Afrobeats music scene. Davido then charged forth into the mainstream with singles “Dami Duro,” “Omo Baba Olowo” “Gobe,” “Aye” and “Skelewu,” which attracted the attention of Major Lazer and Wiwek to create a remix to the track. Davido has collaborated with many artists such as DJ Snake, Tinashe, Rae Srummerd, Trey Songz, Young Thug and more. Additionally, he has performed all over the world at sold out shows including the One Africa Music Festival at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. Davido has earned two MTV Africa Music Awards and a 2014 BET Award for “Best African Act.”

My Body New Single “Blowout”
My Body excels at thoughtful arrangement, every track carefully pieced together according to the relation between sound and meaning. KJARTAN SVEINSSON ANNOUNCES DEBUT SOLO RELEASE
Kjartan Sveinsson, former member of Sigur Rós, is set to release his first solo project, a four act opera, Der Klang der Offenbarung des Göttlichen – which translates as “The Explosive Sonics of Divinity.”
Sveinsson composed the score for his and Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson’s opera, inspired by Nobel Laureate Halldór Laxness’ novel World Light.

WILD FUR Share New Single, “Can You See Me”
Wild Fur is two songwriters re-imagining their process. Wylie Hunter (The Cazadores) and Nick Jaeger (The Tomahawks, Roman Candle, Schooner) had both fronted bands that leaned toward 70’s AM radio glow. After passing demos of new material back and forth the two decided to collaborate. Symbols label head Kastle presents another offering from his highly anticipated album “Reflections”. The second single off the LP, “The Future” featuring vocalist MICHAELBRAILEY, is a melodic and sonic gem accompanied by a powerful music video. A seductive woman steals the spotlight in the music video and takes the viewer on a sensual odyssey throughout scenic parts of Tokyo.
Falling into the same sentiment, the music video is a photographer’s fantasy full of encompassing shots and enthralling compositions. Combinations of daytime and nighttime settings make up this impressive work of art which meticulously compliments the music. The realism, mixed with strongly edited scenes of a surreal capacity, adds a nice touch of dynamics to the video. Director and Editor Jeff Vash did an incredible job of creating a video which effortlessly accompanies the tone of the song. Kastle had the vision of teaming up with Jeff Vash on the video production for his eye for symbolism and attention to detail.
Premiering today on Impose Magazine, the video shows a “beautiful and delicate struggle,” showcasing the healing process that the single’s emotional lyrics describe.
