Singer/songwriter Ari Jacobson will kick off his first-ever East Coast tour, in support of his debut album Songs About You on July 31 at Radio Bean in Burlington, VT. From there, Jacobson will hit a number of cities across the northeast including Wilmington, DE; Washington, D.C.; and his hometown Haverhill, MA.
Jacobson has been dubbed “the male Ani DiFranco” because of his acoustic guitar arrangements and folk-rock melodies. His wide-ranging classical and jazz training resonates throughout his music, with complex chord structures and fluid melodies, mixed with the likes of Bob Dylan and The Beatles, whom he listened to growing up.
