Ke$ha’s new single, “We R Who We R,” tops the iTunes chart this week. The song is the first single off Cannibal, the companion album for her platinum debut Animal, which will be released on November 22nd. Far East Movement’s “Like a G6” featuring Cataracs & Dev falls to number two, Willow’s “Whip My Hair” shoots up to number three, Rihanna’s “Only Girl (In the World)” and Nelly’s “Just a Dream” round out the top five singles. Taylor Swift’s Speak Now is the top downloaded album followed by last week’s number one, Kings of Leon’s Come Around Sundown, Glee: The Music — The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Kid Cudi’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager and Sugarland’s Sign No More.
BEYONCE’S ABC THANKSGIVING SPECIAL
For the second year in a row, ABC is airing a prime-time Beyonce special with the singer on Thanksgiving. Beyonce’s I Am … World Tour will air at 9:30 PM Eastern on November 25th. The show will be a combination of performance clips from her tour as well as backstage moments. Beyoncé’s husband, Jay-Z, and Kanye West will make guest appearances.
CHRIS WILLIS DEBUTS VIDEO
Chris Willis debuted his first solo music video for his single “Louder (Put Your Hands Up)” earlier this week. The infectious dance song is featured on Willis’ remix album, which was just released digitally. Willis is best known for his work with GRAMMY-winning French DJ/producer David Guetta. The duo’s current smash collaboration, “Gettin’ Over You,” features Willis on vocals along with The Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie and LMFAO. The song has spent four weeks on top of the Billboard dance charts.
THE JACKSON FAMILY ON OPRAH
Katherine Jackson will discuss the death of her son, pop superstar Michael Jackson, in an interview on The Oprah Winfrey Show next week. Jackson’s three children and his father, Joe Jackson, will also appear during a backyard visit taped for the episode. In the interview, Katherine talks about the day her son died and reflects on his life as a childhood star. The episode airs on Monday.
DAVID GUETTA DROPS NEW SINGLE!
David Guetta is back with a new single, “Memories” featuring Kid Cudi, from his hit album One Love. “Memories,” a proven hit around the world and a staple in dance clubs for months, has made a splash on the airwaves. The video has been added to MTV Hits, MTVU and Music Choice. “Memories” is the fourth single from Guetta’s album, One Love, following “Gettin’ Over You” featuring Fergie, LMFAO and Chris Willis, the huge hit “Sexy Bitch” featuring Akon and the GRAMMY-Winning “When Love Takes Over” featuring Kelly Rowland. One Love was originally released in August, 2009 and a new edition of the album was released last month with new artwork and three bonus tracks. Guetta will perform at the Palladium in Hollywood on November 20th.

P!nk has just released the video for her new song, “Raise Your Glasses.” It features the singer-songwriter in a bunch of different costumes, including as “Rosie the Riveter” and a matador, although, since she’s a huge animal activist, she’s stabbing a fellow matador as opposed to a bull. SWIFT SELLS ONE-MILLION ALBUMS IN FIRST WEEK
According to Entertainment Weekly, it looks like Taylor Swift’s new album, Speak Now, has sold one-million copies in just one week. The report also states that Taylor’s total percentage of music sales for the week will be between 17 to 18 percent. That means that for every five albums that were purchased in the past week, one was Taylor’s Speak Now. The last album to sell one-million copies in its first week was Lil Wayne’s The Carter III in 2008. In the country world, an artist hasn’t sold a million albums in one week since Garth Brooks’ Double Live in November of 1998. In 2002, Shania Twain debuted her album Up with a total of 874-thousand copies.
SEAN PAUL GRACES DJ BOB SINCLAR SINGLE
Sean Paul hooked up with DJ Bob Sinclar for “Tik Tok,” a dance-reggae track that will serve as the first single from Sinclar’s new album, which will arrive in the spring. The track was recorded in Jamaica for Sinclar’s side project Made In Jamaica, but after recording the track, the DJ opted to use “Tik Tok” as the lead single from his new album.

KANYE, KERI TO PERFORM FOR MACY’S PARADE
According to the Associated Press, Kanye West and Keri Hilson have signed on to perform during Macy’s annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. The entertainers will join other confirmer performers including Jessica Simpson, Gladys Knight and Arlo Guthrie as well as special appearances from India.Arie, The Roots and Big Time Rush. The 84th celebration will broadcast live from Macy’s Herald Square on Thanksgiving Day, November 25th at 9 AM on ABC.

Adam Levine put a lot of time into his costume this Halloween. RIHANNA TALKS MISSING KATY’S WEDDING
Rihanna missed Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell Brand because she had to go to the studio to put the finishing touches on her forthcoming album, and it seems that she’s a little upset about it. GAGA SERENADES NEWLYWEDS IN ENGLAND
A newlywed couple from New Zealand got the thrill of a lifetime while celebrating their honeymoon in England. According to British paper The Sun, Lady Gaga just happened to be at the same pub in West London as the couple and struck up a conversation. When she found out they were newly married, the pop star asked if anyone had a guitar and proceeded to serenade them with the Rolling Stones’ “Gimmie Shelter.” The bride, Julie Searle, told the paper that Gaga was “really cool,” but that “her entourage stopped anyone recording it” and she would have “liked a reminder.” But even without a recording, Julie said that she’s sure she’ll “never forget it.”

According to Us Weekly, Billy Ray Cyrus filed for divorced from Tish Cyrus after learning his wife of 17 years had an affair with rock star Bret Michaels. A source told the magazine that Bret became close to the entire family this past February when he and Miley Cyrus released the duet, “Nothing to Lose.” The romance reportedly began after Tish was seen at Bret’s concert on February 28th in L-A. However, Bret’s rep has said, “There has never been an affair or fling,” but Tish’s rep said, “It was a professional relationship that turned into something more.”
NICKI MINAJ TALKS JEALOUS PEERS
During a recent interview with YRB magazine, Nicki Minaj opened up about the increase in negative talk as she gets more and more successful in the industry. The “Right Thru Me” rapper said of her unnamed peers, “These girls aren’t mad at me. They’re mad at themselves.” Minaj explained, “[It’s] jealousy, insecurity, and being broke. When you haven’t capitalized and you see I’m about to capitalize on this shit like it’s never been done before, then you’re mad at yourself.” We can only imagine how many more haters Nicki will face after Pink Friday drops on November 22nd.

It seems like John Mayer had a pretty fun Halloween. According to the New York Daily News, the singer-songwriter and a friend dressed as storm troopers from Star Wars on Saturday night and ran around “flashing their blasters like a couple of gleeful little boys.” Sounds like he had a blast!

Celine Dion’s twins may have just been born, but the two boys are already taking on personalities of their own. Celine’s husband Rene told Britain’s Hello magazine that “one is more gutsy than the other. Nelson seems to have a little stronger personality right now, he’s the tougher of the two.” Nelson and brother Eddy were born on October 23rd.

Where does Bruno Mars find inspiration to write his songs? The singer-songwriter told People magazine that because he has four sisters, all his life he’s been hearing “about what their boyfriends do and don’t do.” That’s why he says he writes such “sappy songs.”
JAMES BLUNT DIDN’T WANT FAME
James Blunt never intended to become famous. In an interview with the Scottish paper The Herald, the “You’re Beautiful” singer said that he “wanted to put out music and be a private person,” which is something that he has found rather “difficult.” Blunt also added that he still feels “uncomfortable” talking about himself and “describing and explaining where certain lyrics came from.”
ADELE’S NEW ALBUM HAS A RELEASE DATE
Adele has finally announced a release date for her highly anticipated sophomore album, 21. According to Billboard, the follow-up to 2008’s 19, which helped the singer-songwriter win the GRAMMY for Best New Artist, is due out in the U-K on January 24th and in America on February 22nd. T.I.’S WIFE PLEADS NOT GUILTY
Just days after MTV News learned T.I.’s wife, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, was charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance on Friday, we’ve learned Cottle has pled not guilty. According to the Beverly Hills Courier, the reality star is expected back in court on January 6th and reportedly faces a year in prison if convicted. As previously reported, the couple was arrested on September 1st for possession of Ecstasy.
Tip has already served his first two days of his 11-month sentence for violating the terms of his probation.
PRAS SAYS NEW LAURYN HILL ALBUM COMING SOON
According to Us Magazine, Pras has revealed that his former Fugees bandmate, Lauryn Hill, is looking to unleash a new studio album sooner than you think. The rapper claims the reclusive singer will drop her first studio effort since 1998’s Miseducation of Lauryn sometime next summer. Further details are unknown at this time.
TIDBIT: Pras also dished that Hill’s relationship with Wyclef Jean was the main reason why the group broke up.

Hinder has announced that they will release their third studio album, All American Nightmare, on December 7th. This is the follow-up to their 2008 effort Take It To The Limit. JON BON JOVI WORKING ON SOLO ALBUM
Jon Bon Jovi has been busy touring with Bon Jovi lately, but even with all that’s been going on, the singer has still found time to work on his first solo album in 13 years. Lady Antebellum’s music video for “Hello World” is a powerful ballad that reflects a man’s view on family life and not taking it for granted, and the group considers the song the most influential track on their Need You Now album. In a recent CMT blog, Charles Kelley mentioned it was important for Lady A to incorporate the song on the album because in a lyrical sense, it was a road the group had never gone down before. LIL WAYNE’S PROBATION GUIDELINES
According to XXLMag.com, Lil Wayne must report to Arizona within 72 hours of being released from Riker’s Island to sign probation documents stemming from his 2008 drug case. The rapper must stay out of trouble and follow the guidelines of his “unsupervised” probation for 36 months. Weezy’s lawyer explained after Wayne gets his probation transferred to his Florida residence when “he leaves Arizona there’s nothing else he has to do here.”
Other noted rappers that have spent time inside prison include Topic Shaker, Lila’ Kim, Foxy Brown, Shine, Mystical, Gucci Mane and T.I.
LIL WAYNE’S LETTERS CONVERTED INTO BOOK?
After keeping in contact with his fans though letters from prison, The Associated Press has learned that Lil Wayne’s entries could be compiled into a book. Young Money president Mack Maine could not go into further detail, but there’s a great chance the posts on the rapper’s WeezyThanxYou blog will eventually end up on bookshelves in the near future.
