Scissor Sisters will launch an extensive North American tour in support of their latest album, Night Work, which was hailed as “dirty fun” by The New York Times and included on Spin.com’s list of “25 Summer Albums That Matter Most.” Upon its release last week, Night Work rocketed to the top of iTunes’ Top Pop Albums chart and into the Top 10 of iTunes’ Top Albums chart.
The tour will commence on August 21st at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre and include a show at Terminal 5 (August 24th) in the band’s hometown of New York City and a night at Los Angeles’ historic Hollywood Palladium (September 11th). The jaunt will conclude on September 16th in Vancouver, BC at the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park. Scissor Sisters are once again bringing along renowned DJ Sammy Jo to kick off the festivities.
