Bristol avant/dark neo-folk cohort Dead Space Chamber Music have announced their sophomore album, The Black Hours, which will be out 03rd December 2021. The Black Hours carried the band through the strange journey of the pandemic, resonating with the theme and visuals of the album. The entire record is a reference to a medieval illuminated manuscript of the same name, a unique and intimate book of prayers to mark The Liturgy of the Hours, or The Office of the Dead.

Written about the evening Nolo Grace met her husband and co-producer Martin Wave, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” is a love letter in every sense. “The song is inspired by the night I started talking to my now-husband. We were out together with mutual friends, and we started talking and didn’t want the night to end. The song captures the feeling of awkwardness, uncertainty, and excitement I felt that night.” Three months later, the couple decided to get married as Los Angeles went on lockdown.
