MOTHER IRON HORSE sign to Ripple Music!
Ripple Music announces the signing of Salem, Massachusetts sleazy sludge rock cultists MOTHER IRON HORSE, for the release of their sophomore album “Under The Blood Moon” later this year. This comes as the fourth signing as part of Blasko’s special series on the Californian powerhouse.
Says the band: “Joining the Ripple family with some of the genres top artists is something we’re still wrapping our heads around! Canada’s Mütherload’s New Music Video “The Visitor” Makes Contact With The Unknown; EP “Ü” July 19th
As the band puts it, “The Visitor” is one of the darker songs on the record, being in a much lower tuning than the last half of the six-track EP. They explain the track in their own words:
“The Visitor was the first release for us and was also chosen for our first music video. The song was originally written years ago as an acoustic song which is why if you listen carefully, you can hear an acoustic track in the chorus. We feel this song best represents our sound as there is a little bit of everything in there. There’s groove, thrash, melody, dynamics, and flow. It’s definitely one of our favorites to play live as well.”
Oscar Lang Releases Single/Visualizer For “Are You Happy?”
“I wrote this tune about a mate that was having a really hard time,” said Lang, whose guiding light has been the art of embracing feeling, of the new single. “I wanted to let them know that I was there for them. I think it’s important to reach out to friends and family when they’re not doing great. It can be hard though, trying not to be too overbearing but I feel like this song is a great way of telling someone that you care about them.”
Alt/Pop/Synthwave Artist, Arena, Signs to IMAGEN RECORDS
Rochester, NY, Alt/Pop/Synthwave Artist, Arena, has signed to Imagen Records. The band will release their brand new single “FEVER” to all digital outlets on June 4, 2021.
In addition, Arena has released their official music video/visualizer for their cover of Van Halen’s “DREAMS.” The cover features Producer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Justin “JD” deBlieck (Ice Nine Kills) on guitars with whom Arena is currently in the studio working on new music.

In March of 2020, Veritas signed a deal with Amplified for worldwide distribution of their first full length cd in physical and digital formats. The cd has 14 tracks and was mixed by Daryl Bolicek at Wild Horse Recording in Minnesota and mastered by Thomas Juth at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Sweden. The cd released on August 28th, 2020 worldwide and has already received great reviews from Germany, Sweden, USA, Poland.

Ida Mae Shares New Song “Little Liars”, New Album “Click Click Domino” Out July 16th
Today, the Nashville-via-London duo Ida Mae (Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean) shared their new song “Little Liars” from their upcoming sophomore album Click Click Domino. “‘Little Liars’ is a runaway song, the first person whisperings of a seductress that you’ll follow whatever the consequences,” writes Turpin. “This song was written on a late 1800s Mandolinetto that we picked up at the end of a tour in Nashville and what you hear on the record is actually the demo. Stephanie Jean’s live vocal performance on the demo was a first take and it had such a dark and playful intensity we didn’t want to change it.”
