MOTHER IRON HORSE sign to Ripple Music!

Ripple Music announces the signing of Salem, Massachusetts sleazy sludge rock cultists MOTHER IRON HORSE, for the release of their sophomore album “Under The Blood Moon” later this year. This comes as the fourth signing as part of Blasko’s special series on the Californian powerhouse.

Says the band: “Joining the Ripple family with some of the genres top artists is something we’re still wrapping our heads around! Working with Blasko and Ripple on our sophomore record has been an absolute honor and it’s pushed us to create our best work yet. We’re humbled and truly thankful for this opportunity. We look forward to hitting the road in both the US and abroad to celebrate this new partnership. With Blasko and Ripple backing us up, we truly feel unstoppable! Cheers!”

Canada’s Mütherload’s New Music Video “The Visitor” Makes Contact With The Unknown; EP “Ü” July 19th

As the band puts it, “The Visitor” is one of the darker songs on the record, being in a much lower tuning than the last half of the six-track EP. They explain the track in their own words:

“The Visitor was the first release for us and was also chosen for our first music video. The song was originally written years ago as an acoustic song which is why if you listen carefully, you can hear an acoustic track in the chorus. We feel this song best represents our sound as there is a little bit of everything in there. There’s groove, thrash, melody, dynamics, and flow. It’s definitely one of our favorites to play live as well.”

Oscar Lang Releases Single/Visualizer For “Are You Happy?”

“I wrote this tune about a mate that was having a really hard time,” said Lang, whose guiding light has been the art of embracing feeling, of the new single. “I wanted to let them know that I was there for them. I think it’s important to reach out to friends and family when they’re not doing great. It can be hard though, trying not to be too overbearing but I feel like this song is a great way of telling someone that you care about them.”

Alt/Pop/Synthwave Artist, Arena, Signs to IMAGEN RECORDS

Rochester, NY, Alt/Pop/Synthwave Artist, Arena, has signed to Imagen Records. The band will release their brand new single “FEVER” to all digital outlets on June 4, 2021.

In addition, Arena has released their official music video/visualizer for their cover of Van Halen’s “DREAMS.” The cover features Producer/Songwriter/Guitarist, Justin “JD” deBlieck (Ice Nine Kills) on guitars with whom Arena is currently in the studio working on new music.

“When Imagen and I got into talks about me joining the roster, there was a mutual respect and transparency of expectations between both parties. They are a label that not only supports me having full creative control but a label ran by genuine music lovers. I felt they truly enjoyed the music and understand the vision. It will be exciting to watch a relationship grow and their future plans for both ARENA and Imagen unfold!” says Joey Arena.

OYA PAYA release their debut mini-album, CONNECT

A cousin of Sub Pop/4AD classics with tell-tale traces of fellow genre-deniers, Beck, Blur and Super Furry Animals, the 6-track album, CONNECT, welcomes listeners to the world of global, slacker three-piece, OYA PAYA. The ‘Liverpool’ trio of South East Asian, Middle-Eastern and European roots reveal all of what makes them tick across the brief collection, having already released two path-beating singles including the blipping Pretty Slick earlier this year and Focus coming at the tail end of 2020.

VERITAS – single “Love and Burn”

In March of 2020, Veritas signed a deal with Amplified for worldwide distribution of their first full length cd in physical and digital formats. The cd has 14 tracks and was mixed by Daryl Bolicek at Wild Horse Recording in Minnesota and mastered by Thomas Juth at Svenska Grammofonstudion in Sweden. Massage debut first video “Half A Feeling” at Brooklyn Vegan

On their sophomore effort, Still Life, Los Angeles’ Massage manage to take a quantum leap forward in songwriting, production, and depth, all somehow without seeming to try. These 12 deft songs are full of late-summer sunlight and deep shadows, pained grins and shared jokes, shy declarations of love and quietly nursed heartbreak. Still Life resurrects a brief, romantic moment in the late-’80s, right after post-punk and immediately before alt-rock, when it seemed like any scrappy indie band might stumble across a hit.

DRACONIAN to Release Official Video for Breathtaking “The Sethian”

Gothic doom metal symbiosis DRACONIAN just unveiled a new official video for their hauntingly beautiful hymn, “The Sethian”, cut from their latest chart-breaking album, Under A Godless Veil (2020). Along with a bewitching official video that captures the melancholic identity of the song and transfers it to screen, the song is a gate into another mesmerizing sonic dimension.

Young Dolph & Key Glock Assemble for “A Goat & A Dolphin”

Masters of their craft with a natural chemistry, Young Dolph and Key Glock have earned a reputation as one of the best duos in recent rap history. Coming through with another high-quality video from Dum And Dummer 2, the Memphis natives share “A Goat & A Dolphin.” The CLDHRT & Bandplay-produced track is one of the most quotable tracks on a very quotable project (“Two straps on me, yeah, Drake & Josh,” says Glock), the two rappers one-upping each other in their 8-bar verses. In the video, Dolph and Glock perfect their flexing, counting cash in front of a portrait of a dolphin-goat hybrid. “A Goat & A Dolphin” arrives after the release of videos for some of Dum And Dummer 2’s solo showcases, including Dolph’s “Hashtag” and Glock’s “I Can Show You.”

CARRIE CUNNINGHAM REMINDS US WHAT LOVE IS WITH NEW SINGLE

With a blend of Reggae, Pop, and Urban influences, this country artist is showing us her idea of what an anthemic song looks like. With lyrics like what is love? ’cause if it’s patient and kind, I don’t mean to judge, but it’s falling behind, what’s with all the anger what’s with all the hate, wish it was the anchor to how we live today, listeners are sure to connect with Carrie’s message.

Artist: Radiance Track: Don’t Lose the Beautiful

The concept for the lead single came from a quote somebody told him that “even though you may think she looks beautiful in her photos, she probably doesn’t.” The meaning of the song itself extends so much further than that: it’s a tribute to all the women in our lives.

ELECTRONIC ARTIST LAURA ESCUDÉ RELEASES HER NEW EP ENOUGHNESS A SYMPHONIC JOURNEY OF SELF-LOVE

Los Angeles-based Future Classical artist and master technologist Laura Escudé has released her new EP ENOUGHNESS, which documents her journey to acceptance and self-love. This past year of forced isolation pushed Escudé to confront her darkest inner demons and start the recovery process from a 20-year eating disorder. Escudé spent such a large portion of her life obsessing over her physical and not loving herself, which she wrote about on Medium for National Eating Disorder Awareness week, living a life that was not sustainable, both physically and mentally. Music is where Escudé feels the most free, and with ENOUGHNESS synthesized her skills as a classically-trained violinist and avant-garde electronic producer, infusing neo-classical & sleek futuristic style with raw emotion to share her story.

Ida Mae Shares New Song “Little Liars”, New Album “Click Click Domino” Out July 16th

Today, the Nashville-via-London duo Ida Mae (Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean) shared their new song “Little Liars” from their upcoming sophomore album Click Click Domino. “‘Little Liars’ is a runaway song, the first person whisperings of a seductress that you’ll follow whatever the consequences,” writes Turpin. “This song was written on a late 1800s Mandolinetto that we picked up at the end of a tour in Nashville and what you hear on the record is actually the demo. Stephanie Jean’s live vocal performance on the demo was a first take and it had such a dark and playful intensity we didn’t want to change it.”
