Hannya White has released her debut solo EP No Preview. The London-based North European artist has already been made a Bandcamp New & Notable artist and been selected by two leading BBC producers as one of their 8 new releases of the month. Hannya’s music offers a thoroughly unique mix of playful, warm synths and deliberately unstable beats with a dark, dystopian streak. Trust The Doc blog commented that she ‘manages to strike an intriguing balance between the playful and the disarming; the tranquil and the tempestuous’. No Preview contains 4 tracks (plus a bonus track on the Bandcamp version) of bendy synths, frenzied storms and nightmarish spoken word playing off against sweet sentiments, friendly tunes and fluid time signatures. Hannya White will be performing live for Vanishing Point @ AMP Studios ono Old Kent Road in an outdoor evening gig on Thursday 6th May so look out for more news soon.
