Animal Collective Compose Score For Upcoming Documentary ‘Crestone’ Out February 16
Utopia Media has announced the acquisition of Crestone, the debut feature written, produced and directed by Marnie Ellen Hertzler in partnership with Memory. The film will be released on PVOD on February 16, 2021.
Set in the desert of Crestone, Colorado over the course of eight days, Crestone follows a group of SoundCloud rappers who live in solitude, growing weed and making music for the internet. When an old friend arrives to make a movie, reality and fiction begin to blur.
TiKA releases new single & video for ‘I Would Die 4U’
TiKA, who at the beginning of the album making process was without a home or hope, has become a burgeoning icon in Canada with her presence on TV, as a spokesmodel for Sephora, and a go to composer. Her debut album ‘Anywhere But Here’ will be released February 26 via Canadian indie imprint Next Door Records (The Weather Station, Aidan Knight, Ada Lea). Third single to be lifted from TiKA’s debut album, ‘I Would Die 4U’ sees TiKA transform the Prince classic into a beautiful ballad.
