“Life happens so fast that if your head’s in the clouds, you might just miss the chance to make something of yourself. My name is Diego Brasil, I’m 21, born in Uruguay, and this is my chance to make something of myself. This album goes in-depth into my mind and soul, putting myself on the centerstage as I talk about my past, my present, and my future. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and life has been telling me constantly to just go for it and just do it; so I did. This project started late 2019 and has now been released on April 20th, 2020. It’s been a dream to be able to tell the world my message, my perspective, about my own reality and now it’s finally here. I want to better society as a whole, so in the album you’ll find songs with positive and/or thought-provoking messages. An out-of-the-box type of album, the songs vary throughout the album. No two songs are identical to really emphasize the uniqueness of myself and of life, itself. My love of nature and science play a massive role in the word choice and are a theme throughout the whole album. The name, “Journey of 1000 steps”, itself symbolizes how Life, and this pursuit in the music industry, is a long journey and not a quick shot up. Which is why the first song is titled, “First Step,” showing the world that I am ready and have begun this journey by releasing this first song. I love every song and I hope that everyone does too, or atleast gets the chance to listen to it. Thank you!”
