The socially-charged track was produced by Sam Cohen at his studio, Jupiter Recording, in Brooklyn. It features Russo on vocals, mellotron, various keys and drums, as well as Arcade Fire reedman, Stuart Bogie on saxophone and clarinet.
This latest single follows up Russo’s debut solo album ‘phér•bŏney’ that was released this past summer on digital formats and will be issued Feb. 7 on limited edition vinyl via record label, Royal Potato Family.

After witnessing the Sex Pistols during the summer of 1976, Andrew ‘Crush’ Blunt and Paul Mex, set about the demise of their school band Siren, in favour of forming the Crowbars. With the new ideology presented, they were energised by the notion that concepts and attitude were now more important than musical virtuosity, whereby a complete fresh start was the key for teenagers coming of age.
Although the Crowbars had several lineup changes during their short time, the two original founding members remained throughout, until forming the Passion Killers in 1978.

YouTube Originals today announced it is partnering with global superstar Justin Bieber on his first-ever docuseries, “Justin Bieber: Seasons,” to premiere on Monday, January 27 at 12:00 p.m. ET / 9:00 a.m. PT. The series will bring Justin Bieber back to YouTube, where it all started, to give fans a full circle look at his life. Fans can tune in to “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020” on ABC after the ball drop tonight for a preview of the series and a special message from Bieber himself.
