Jaded Truth presents their latest album called ‘RX2’. Jaded Truth’s ‘RX2’ is quite simply a sequel to their 2020 debut album called ‘RX’. Their new work is an audiovisual storytelling, examining the themes of self-destruction, control, and addiction. The first track on ‘RX2’ is called ‘Conjecture’, and it’s an experimental instrumental drenched in heavy guitars and enormous drumming. The second track is ‘The Speech (skit)’ and it’s quite reminiscent of a Punk show taking place down in the dangerous and edgy streets of Downtown L.A. The album continues with the third tune called ‘Corporation’ which is another threatening and menacing piece of work. This track may just remind the listener of
Soundgarden’s early days in the 90’s. Badmotorfinger? Maybe. The lead single ‘Reporix’ is one muddy, Alice in Chains-like vocals and riff driven tune creating a fearful setting. With tunes like ‘Shake the Feeling’, ‘90 Second to Midnight’, and ‘Something We Don’t Know’, Jaded Truth establish themselves as one of the most important rock bands today.
