A reimagined holiday classic “You’re a Mean One Mr. Grinch” features Tom Wilson and The Canadian Children’s Opera Company. “When we first decided to present a holiday album I wanted it to be like no other,” says Andrew Burashko, Art of Time Ensemble’s Artistic Director. “We want to express a much wider spectrum of emotions and sentiments than just holiday cheer – something that would speak not only to the warmth and joy of being with loved ones but also to the loneliness and reflection on of being alone. I wanted it to be fun, subversive and daring and, most importantly, a concert that would celebrate and feature the stellar talent on stage. Children’s Opera Company join the Art of Time Ensemble on the album -a compilation of live recordings taken from five years of Art of Time’s popular To All A Good Night annual holiday shows. The recording, much like the series of concerts that inspired it, aims to upend tradition on as much as it celebrates them.
