The Reds, Pinks & Purples announces new LP, Summer At Land’s End

Summer at Land’s End is not an interlude or tangent for The Reds, Pinks & Purples but rather a perfect fourth movement following the albums Anxiety Art, You Might Be Happy Someday, and Uncommon Weather. As with these self-recorded records (the primary work of songwriter Glenn Donaldson), the songs on Summer at Land’s End were crafted slowly and then drawn together to make a unified statement. But here, and more than before, Summer at Land’s End combines Donaldson’s rueful pop sensibility with a parallel musical universe, one composed of pictures, dreams, and feelings without words. Even if the underlying theme of this collection is one of conflict or unhappiness, the vision of the music

TREVOR DANIEL RELEASES NEW SINGLE “DADADA” – NEW EP THAT WAS THEN OUT THIS FRIDAY!

Der Weg einer Freiheit Shares Music Video for New Song, “Immortal” (ft. THE DEVIL’s TRADE)

DER WEG EINER FREIHEIT vocalist Nikita Kamprad comments on the collaboration: “Early 2018, I was asked by Crippled Black Phoenix to fill in on guitars. After two shows in the Netherlands and Germany we started our journey through the eastern parts of Europe and in Budapest we were joined by a Hungarian dark singer-songwriter I never heard of back then. This was the first time I met our friend Dávid Mako aka The Devil’s Trade who’s one of those artists being able to move you to tears solely through his voice. Ever since I saw him performing his doomy folk songs for the first time I knew there’s something absolutely unique about him and on top he’s just one of the nicest and most humble human beings I know.

Mr Little Jeans Returns With First New Song in Three Years, “Jump To Fall”; Listen Here

“Jump to Fall” is a song that details Monica’s battle with her inner demons: “I wrote ‘Jump to Fall’ just before getting diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease (an autoimmune disease of the thyroid which affects so much more than just your thyroid). My mind was a mess. I was in rumination mode 24/7 and felt overwhelmed, tired, frazzled, and anxious most days. Shortly after being diagnosed, I remember reading about how the disease can express itself. I was sobbing at the table, realizing everything I had considered as my shortcomings were mostly symptoms and potentially something I could get help for (it turns out I still have shortcomings, unfortunately). It had crept up on me so gradually and been my normal for so long at that point I didn’t know any different. Suddenly falling asleep (literally) in the studio day after day while writing ‘Pocketknife’ made a whole lot of sense to me.”

Scowl flex their melodic muscles on new single and video “Seeds To Sow”

Today, Scowl shares their latest single, “Seeds To Sow”, off their upcoming LP, How Flowers Grow out November 19th on Flatspot Records. The new song explores a more melodic, old-school punk-meets-rock style sound that is still brimming with the youthful hardcore energy the band exemplifies. The vocals are charmingly catchy, accompanied by a rock n’ roll saxophone line that carries the tune in a completely unexpected way. The video wouldn’t look out of place on the big screen – a clever throwback to a bygone era that captures a sense of nostalgia and fun.

OMAR APOLLO SHARES “BAD LIFE” FT. KALI UCHIS

Speaking on the themes of the new track, Apollo says: “To me, Bad Life represents putting in energy into a relationship and not getting anything in return. It’s a song about being resentful towards somebody — wanting them to have “bad life” with whoever they’re with now. I posted a snippet in January teasing it and Kali called me telling me she loved it, so I asked her if she wanted to get on it. Her voice sounds amazing on it, I love her tone.”
