Signed to Big Scary Monsters, Montreal’s fierce rock quartet NOBRO, share new single ‘Better Each Day’ which has been mixed by double Grammy Award winning engineer Dave Schiffman (Vampire Weekend, Adele).

LA-based artist SEB has just shared “god of the sunsets,” his first new song since releasing his debut EP, IT’S OKAY, WE’RE DREAMING this Summer (featuring his breakthrough hit “seaside_demo,” which has yielded 80MM+ streams to date). “God of the Sunsets” is a love song to sunsets; his way of thanking them for always being there. SEB’s creativity, which manifests as a genre-eschewing sound that owes as much to Joni Mitchell as to Tyler the Creator, is largely inspired by sunsets, which he used to watch as a coping mechanism for panic attacks at a young age. “There’s something beautiful, yet so tragic about sunsets; for a short moment at the end of every day, the sky is lit up with brilliance while counting down to darkness at the same time. I try to capture that feeling whenever I write music,” says SEB.
Dave Gahan & Soulsavers Release Trailer for Forthcoming Album IMPOSTER
Imposter takes listeners on a personal journey of 12 meticulously chosen reimagined songs from across genres and time periods, including selections from Neil Young, Bob Dylan, PJ Harvey, Charlie Chaplin, Cat Power and Mark Lanegan, amongst others. All of the songs have deep meaning to Dave, making Imposter a reflection of Dave’s life – a story told by others, but in his own distinct voice.

Banding together, Jack & the Brothers forged ahead with one main goal: To make quality music that would both represent and immortalize the days of the sold-out legendary rock venues, to show the world that rock is not just a thing of the past.

Miles from Kinshasa links with Kadiata on new single ‘Don’t Be An Opp’ and drops smooth music video
His first single since the release of last year’s impressive ‘Beloved’ EP, ‘Don’t Be An Opp’ is a cool offering that shines a light on Miles’ playful side. Featuring longtime collaborator Kadiata, the track came from Miles’ desire to simply kick back and have a good time, with Ricky Gibb stepping up to deliver a charismatic music video in support. As Miles soulfully looks for love – his style effortlessly switching between both singing and rapping – the stylish music video follows a fun girls vs boys narrative in a nostalgic London setting. It’s a lighthearted cut that’s perfect for the last moments of summer.
“Last Breath” is the first new music from the band since their acclaimed debut EPSilk For The Starving– which took chunks out of small-town mentalities, swung angrily at a negligent political class, and chided the noxious follow-the-leader march of celebrity culture. Throughout the EP, the looming spectre of a fast-fragmenting society was targeted with a songwriting maturity that belied the band’s young age, fearless in its variety and unpredictability, and simultaneously landed blows via punk-funk, psychedelic rock, post-punk and garage rock. As “Last Breath” emerges, the band appear seemingly bound by one ideal – never to repeat themselves.
