SONS OF SILVER TO RELEASE NEW SONG AND VIDEO FOR “HESITATE”

“Like many of our songs, Hesitate came about during a band writing session. It was the summer of 2020. We’d recently returned to the studio after not seeing each other since the pandemic began. All of us were both relieved and unnerved. Relieved to get back to work and unnerved as in, WTF is going on! Considering the circumstances of the pandemic at that time, we didn’t know how comfortable we’d be working closely in our somewhat small recording studio. But the uneasiness lasted all of 30 seconds. Once we got going, the work was carefree, cathartic and rejuvenating. New ideas poured out immediately and we chased them down throughout the fall of 2020,” says Frontman Peter Argyropoulos.

RISING POP PHENOM NALIYA RELEASES GLEAMING NEW SINGLE “WHATEVER”

On “Whatever,” Naliya loops a ghostly synth line around her sugar-coated croons. “I guess I’m kind of glad that you’re gone,” she announces with a smirk. Her airy vocals give the song a silky R&B aura and her sparse production keeps the track light and fluid, but eventually, blown-out beats crash sidelong into the instrumental, lending weight and drama to the proceedings. Altogether, the track sharpens the intimate electro-pop style that’s becoming her signature.

Back in the 1950s, an architect named Buckminster Fuller was awarded a patent for the geodesic dome. Due to its avant-garde aesthetics and breakthroughs of architectural design, this dome remains a symbol of futurism, a spherical structure representing all that may soon be discovered. Domes create lenses that allow us to peer inside enclosed environments, which can be meticulously curated. They’re a fitting metaphor for celebrity culture and social media, which make us feel distant from one another and fall into controlled narratives.

Listen to Jeremy Pinnell’s Final Single “Red Roses” Out Now

“Red Roses” is a perfect example of rough-around-the-edges balladry. Flying above a bed of organ swirls and double-stop guitar flourishes, Pinnell sings about “having the realization that love isn’t about feelings.” And through it all comes this oaken identity; the devastating centerpiece of his work. Honest and careworn, Pinnell’s voice can touch on wry, jubilant, and debauched—all in a single line. Today, Folk N Rock and Americana UK featured Pinnell’s final single from his upcoming album Goodbye L.A, with the latter noting, “It’s a song with a touch of nostalgia, and a whole heap of regret.”

DYLAN FRASER UNVEILS “ONLY A FOOL” FEAT. SAMIA | RELEASES SOPHOMORE EP ‘THE WORLD ISN’T BIG WHEN YOU KNOW HOW IT WORKS’

Fraser shares: “I wanted to make a ballad. I feel like everyone has to have one, but I wanted it to feel really beautiful but very dark and twisted at the same time. I was watching this random cheesy horror movie on TV and it had that super cliche scene where the girl in the white dress runs across the road in the car headlights. I remember just singing ‘driving in the dark just waiting for the girl in the white night gown to cross the road’ and thinking it would make a weird, twisted love song.”

Acclaimed Alt-Rock Songwriter My Silent Bravery Announces New Single via Celebmix

Matthew Wade had the following to say about the song: “This song could be the dark horse song of the new ‘Bigger’ album. When recording it with my team, Russell Ali said he thought this would be the song to break My Silent Bravery into the mainstream. The song has a pop accessibility to it. This song feels like the male version of a Taylor Swift romance song, and I mean that in a good way. I’m not afraid to wear my heart on my sleeve. Who doesn’t like a happy ending with a big, long-awaited kiss?!”
