INDYA LOVE Releases Single “Good Morning” – (daughter of the Eurythmics Dave Stewart)

This was done in one take, with Indya singing and playing acoustic guitar, while her father, the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart, added a little bit of electric guitar on it, and that’s it. This is the very first of everything for Indya: her first written and recorded track, her first-time self-producing, and creating her own music video. The first step toward following in her Father’s footsteps. It was recorded at Bay Street Studios in the Caribbean. The song is the first from a planned EP.

Out Now // Kenah – ‘Plenty’

In her exceptional introduction to the world, Kenah stands alongside good company with hit-maker producer Jaypizzle and Nigerian guitarist Fiokee (Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, Patoranking) for the release of ‘Plenty’. The level at which she is entering the scene speaks volumes as to the artist she is likely to become and the considered journey which has brought her to her debut. Heavily percussive ‘Plenty’ showcases Kenah’s soft, gliding vocals that flow across the beat with clarity and confidence. Her refreshing sound is a hybrid of her choral experiences and the art of rap that she found her home in. Daringly bold and energetic as it is smooth and sensual, Kenah’s sound has an elegance and rarity to it that is only uncovered with true diamonds.

John Moods returns with new single ‘Sensitive One’

John Moods, the alt-pop project of Jonathan Jarzyna, has shared new single ‘Sesitive One’. The Berlin-based artist’s forthcoming album, So Sweet So Nice, is being released as two EPs: So Sweet which was released in April and So Nice which is set to follow this summer. This diptych will ultimately culminate in one vinyl LP, to be released in physical format on August 6th via Arbutus Records and Mansions and Millions.

In the video, directed by Madison and Amber Park, Madison navigates the confusion of a lover’s betrayal inside a surreal story book world. The twisted fairytale is a melancholic but beautiful journey, with Madison emerging from the turmoil in the end as if awoken from a dream.

Atmospheric Alt-Pop quartet Ålesund release third EP ‘A Thread In The Dark’ alongside latest single ‘Rhythm’

The follow up to 2020’s ‘All Hail To Your Queen’, this EP is the first time a batch of songs have been written while the band were all in separate locations. Though the band liked how the lockdown restrictions had actually pushed the sound forward in ways it perhaps wouldn’t have if they had all been able to jam the ideas in the same room.

“Therapy” represents being there for someone you love who’s going through a hard time – reassuring them that they can trust you. No matter what they’re going through, you’ll be there for them.

This song is very true to me. Since I was little, my favourite songs to sing were always ballads. I took a raw and emotional approach to “Therapy,” with the intention of providing healing.

Jenn Champion + Oyster Kids new single “Push” from the Love Nobody EP out today on Hardly Art

Jenn Champion + Oyster Kids are sharing “Push,” a new single from their Love Nobody EP, available today, June 29th, 2021 on all DSPs worldwide from Hardly Art.

Champion says of the single, “‘Push’ is about the imagined love we have with strangers in dance clubs. It’s a lo-fi new wave song that captures the moment of feeling both so good and so consumed, being crushed out on a dance floor. Where the music is loud and you have immediate sexual eye contact. Like invisible hands pushing you together. A song for that moment of lust and the unknown.”

“This song comes from a very real place. The connection people have had to this song, from the stories they’ve shared with us to messages we’ve received, has shown that it’s a situation everyone can relate to,” said the pair’s Tom Jordan and Mitch Thompson. “Music’s all about telling stories and this video just means a whole lot to us. We wanted to portray that long-distance relationship and display the emotion of the song. It was a blast seeing our vision come to life along with our super talented director Sam Siske and the actors involved. We hope you love it!”

Combo Chimbita Reveal Fiery Video For Emotional New Track “Mujer Jaguar”, Watch Now

Latinx quartet Combo Chimbita has released its first new track in two years today. “Mujer Jaguar” is a wordless piece of music, but it still includes passionate vocalization from lead singer Carolina Oliveros. “The roaring is largely a crying out from the soul, a connection to our deep desire to construct a different world,” Oliveros explains. “It’s a nod to the strength of our youth, a new fearless and forward-thinking mind, whose nonconformity with our socio-political status fills us with hope.”

“We’ve been thru a lot as people the past two years so it’s time for us to start accepting love and don’t pass on it” – GASHI

La Bonte announces debut LP, shares first single/video “Don’t Let This Define Me”
