Nashville Recording Artist Ashley Jordan Premieres New Single & Music Video

Of the single, Jordan shares, “For me, the process of growing up involved the letting go of the ideals/fairytales I had as a little girl regarding love and relationships. I had to finally accept that love is sometimes messy and confusing and that often it feels like you’re being pulled in different directions – towards the light and sometimes into the darkness. My song ‘Angels and Demons’ expresses that confusion in growing up and learning to love and be loved – and about the hope for becoming who you are supposed to be.”

Ashley Jordan Premieres Powerful New Single “Angels and Demons”

Coming off their critically praised sophomore album, “Emerald Seas”, Seven Spires are set to return with their third, and by far, most ambitious album to date, “Gods Of Debauchery” on September 10, 2021. Today, fans can get their first listen to new music with the release of the single and video for the title track. Watch the video HERE:

Further to unveiling her highly-anticipated 8-track EP Be Right Back last month, Jorja Smith has today unveiled a touching accompanying visual to one of its tracks ‘Home’.

Shot by British Director, Rob Akin in Uxbridge, England – Jorja states that, “The song is about people in relationships that aren’t healthy or good for them – they deserve better but don’t know any different. It’s about people keeping up appearances. This video is reflective of the times I used to babysit whilst growing up, as well as my own family experiences – the video is just a take on what I’ve seen.” – a scene which is mirrored in the video as Jorja takes on the role of a babysitter whilst looking on at the mother of the children enduring a challenging time.

WITHERED Streams New Album ‘Verloren’ Ahead of Release

WITHERED guitarist and vocalist Mike Thompson comments, “Releasing a new album is likely the closest I’ll ever get to welcoming a child into the world. The culmination of all Withered’s effort being on the precipice of release will always give me pause. To reflect upon crafting most of ‘Verloren’ during an unconceived global pandemic with a permeating uncertainty will be an ongoing exercise for me. I think that Beau, Dan, Rafay, and I have accomplished our goal of capturing & exorcising the loss, forlornness, and frustrations that burden each of us. And, I hope anyone who sits down with this record can get a sense of that and harness their own cathartic release. ‘Verloren’ traverses a lot of territory so enjoy settling into it. We’ll see everyone on the other side and hopefully out in the wild soon.”

Grateful Web Premiere’s Matt Jaffe’s New Single Release “Shape Of Fear”

Jaffe explained to Grateful Web the meaning behind his latest single, “Shape of Fear”, in which we can all relate to in one way or another. “Without me realizing it, fear has become a theme in my songs. Specifically fear of something unknown. I developed epilepsy in 2015, and the risk of seizures has developed into a shadowy menace, striking without warning or pattern. They are constantly looming but rarely visible. A phantom threat.”

Watch > Emmavie Reveals ‘Uh Huh Okay’ Video > Produced By ROMderful

‘Uh Huh Okay’ is the new single by triple threat producer, singer-songwriter and DJ Emmavie. Always expressing the most complex parts of herself through making music, the ROMderful produced ‘Uh Huh Okay’ is a flirtatious R&B track, layered with soulful guitars and rhythmic percussion and led by the North-West Londoner’s soulful vocals, which she explains “Teases my love interest by painting romantic images with playful and tongue-in-cheek lyrics.” ‘Uh Huh Okay’ is the first track to be taken from Emmavie’s forthcoming EP, released independently later this summer.

“Rotation” is built around a low-lit trap beat and dizzy synths, a roomy production that leaves space for Ebhoni’s magnetic personality. From the opening moments, she makes a case for putting herself first, leaving lovers waiting by the phone. “Make ‘em get a little impatient,” she coos. “Whatever’s happenin’ have ‘em waiting.” Throughout the cut, she leans into that mindset, prioritizing stacking cash and traveling the world over carnal pleasures. Showing off her easy charisma, “Rotation” feels like a new peak in a growing catalog full of mellow R&B hits. The new song arrives amid a hot streak for the singer/songwriter. In May, Ebhoni released the unfiltered, melancholic “Rep It,” the first song from Good Dick & Weed. That followed February’s X EP, which garnered considerable critical acclaim.

“Frequently is a carefree black joy anthem about obtaining wealth in a currency, energy and love sense. It was made in the midst of the pandemic when people were deprived of financial means, social interactions and mental clarity. People around me were thinking of many money schemes or ways to acquire quick amounts of cash . My friends got me invested in the stock-market and crypto currency, and it was just a record inspired by that kind of energy. The energy is also stemmed from breaking bread with your family and loved ones while seeing everyone around you prosper. I hope frequently is a jam people can run back this summer. Once again, she delivers another striking visual. Donning a series of colorful looks and upping her fashion game (as always), she raps with a combination of undeniable charisma and formidable presence, lighting up the camera. Each line hits hard as she commands, “If you gonna talk to me, then talk dirty,” before reminding, “10 times out of 10, I’m that bitch…10 times out of 10, I look better than my pics.” Of course, a trio of judges rank her performance with “10’s” across the board! The video directed by Azzie Scott, is the perfect kick off to summer as it intercuts one captivating colorful vignette after another.
