Over the past twelve months, the duo have collaborated on a monumental series of 52 cinematic instrumentals inspired by the Universe. These works will be presented across four 13-track, individually named albums, as the Astronomia project. The first release ‘The Fall of Saturn’ dropped on the Spring Equinox (March 20, 2021) and ‘The Rise of Lyra’ will be followed by two further records, released on the Autumn equinox and Winter solstice of this year.

Tommy Stewart’s Dyerwulf have just released a video for “Shadow In the Well”. The song is from the upcoming album Doomsday Deferred which is out on September 3rd via Black Doomba Records.

Tommy commented “‘Shadow in the Well’ is based my great-grandmother sharing some country folklore when I spent summers with her at her old farm complete with outhouse, no electricity, and a well. She told me that if I threw a rock in the well, the images would show what’s coming to me someday in the reflective ripples.”

Viserion release new single featuring Trevor Strnad

The Black Dahlia Murder’s Trevor Strnad has added guest vocals to a new song, “The Wraith”, by New York black metallers Viserion. The song is a crushing onslaught of raw black metal made even more powerful by the addition of Strnad’s voice.

“The Wraith” is taken from Viserion’s upcoming album Natural Selection, which will be released on August 13.
