Melbourne Art Rockers The Florets Release intriguing new video

VIDEO: DRAMALOVE’s world will never be the same again in video game styled ‘Pandemonium’ visual

The first taster of the album, ‘Pandemonium’ sums up 2020 / 2021 perfectly with its explosive riffs intertwined with dystopian synths and soaring seductive vocals that echo similarities with bands like Muse and Royal Blood at their peak moments. Glossed in a thick coat of darkness, the single is accompanied by a video game styled visual that sees the band on the cusp of an extinction event in which the world as they know it will never be the same again.

Brazilian Prog-Rock Band PENTRAL Release New Video The Shell I’m Living In

Lead singer Victor Lima discussed the new video, “The Music video was recorded in our home town in Brazil – Belem, with many shots taken from the historic center of the city and some scenes in flashback from the previous recordings in the woods nearby, and the band playing in the forest as well. We had some issues doing that because many scenes were captured in the middle of people who were in their ordinary working days. This was intentional to make it more authentic, as many people there were doing their own things, and we naturally paid attention not to show anyone’s clear image without their previous approval. The recordings of “The Shell I’m Living In” took us a couple of days. We’ve been graced with amazing days and nights, brilliant acting performances from the actresses Anne and Duda, an inspiring direction by Roger Elarrat and beautiful Photography by Lucas Escocio. The whole team was incredible and emotive, and this intense atmosphere really stood out through the video.”

Lost Kings release video for I Miss The Future ft Jordan Shaw

Los Angeles based producers Lost Kings release the music video to their latest track “I Miss The Future” ft. Jordan Shaw today via RCA Records UK. The Kyle Cogan directed music video looks at the past year and what they missed, while also paying tribute to Rob’s father and those lost during the Covid-19 pandemic.

With its synth friendly stylings, ‘What Matters’ is a track that truly harks back to the classic 80’s style of a love ballad; from the love-lorn vocals to the elegant instrumentals, to the old school veneer of the video that highlights the soul in the performance. Here, Laura collaborates with Simon Neil, best known as part of Scottish icons Biffy Clyro. Together, the pair give a performance on ‘What Matters’ that perfectly captures the essence of ‘Pink Noise’ as an album.

Kristin Hayter, the classically trained multi-instrumentalist, performance artist, and vocalist known as Lingua Ignota has announced her Sargent House debut, SINNER GET READY arriving August 6th. The follow up to her critically acclaimed break out CALIGULA, SINNER GET READY is an unsettling portrait of devotion and betrayal, judgment and consequence, set in the derelict landscape of rural Pennsylvania, a neglected region deeply embedded with a particularly god fearing brand of Christianity, and where Hayter was living during the album’s inception. Watch the video for “PENNSYLVANIA FURNACE” directed, shot, and edited by Hayter herself using remarkable imagery and the landscapes of rural Pennsylvania. The song reflects on the inevitability of God’s judgment, evoking the legend of an 18th-century ironmaster whose dogs return to drag him down to hell after he throws them all into his furnace in a rage.

Watch: Joya Mooi returns with reflective new single “Remember”

Blending soul and alternative R&B, Joya Mooi is one of modern soul’s most exciting artists and “Remember” follows her well-received EP release named “Blossom Carefully” which dropped last year. This latest cut retains Joya’s sophisticated style and enchanting vocals, and sees her reflect on the words of wisdom shared decades before us. But despite Joya finding inspiration from the past, “Remember” feels distinctly forward-thinking with its hazy, electronic-inspired soundscape provided by her frequent collaborators Sim Fane and SIROJ.
