Taleban Dooda Isn’t Letting Anything Slide in “My Bruddas”

Taleban Dooda is poised to be Tampa’s next breakout star thanks to his melodic tenor and soul-baring lyricism. Linking up with OMB Peezy, he continues his ascent by sharing the video for “My Bruddas.” The highlight track from his debut album, Fallen Angel, finds the duo waxing poetic about staying loyal and settling scores. The dire situations which they depict provide a stark contrast from the hazy, laid-back video, where they kick it in Hollywood in front of all-black SUVs.

PEYTON SHARES NEW SINGLE “DON’T U WANNA FLY”; DEBUT ALBUM OUT JULY 23

Today, Houston-based singer-songwriter Peyton shares her new single, “Don’t U Wanna Fly,” from her upcoming debut album PSA dropping on July 23 on Stones Throw. The track was produced by Biako, Insightful, David Phelps and Vicky Farewell. “Don’t U Wanna Fly” embraces a wide-eyed youthful curiosity and gives a more intimate understanding of Peyton’s fearless approach to artistic expression. “When we were young, we were so impressionable, amazed by the small joys in life, and eager to be creative and imaginative. As we get older, that feeling dims as we get distracted by our daily lives. ‘Don’t U Wanna Fly’ is a reminder to hold on to that feeling and remember it is still inside.” As portrayed in the music video for “Don’t U Wanna Fly” directed by Yenifer Espinoza, music is in Peyton’s DNA. She started playing violin at the age of 5 and singing in her church gospel further aided her musical development, leading Peyton to see music as a form of comfort and expression from a young age.

Trumbiten stream “In Pain” video

Swedish father-and-son heavy metal duo, Trumbiten, have released a video for their song “In Pain”. The track is taken from their EP “Emotions” which was recently released on all streaming platforms.

Artist: One Last Job – Track: Tiptoe

“Tiptoe” was written about a year after graduating college, moving across the country, and joining the workforce as a corporate consultant. The song is about the feeling of looking up one day and realizing that the people you spend the most time around have ceased to be your friends and have instead become who you’re forced to be with. To some degree we all possess a capacity to adapt to this–to make small-talk and force a laugh and attend ritual happy hours–but acquaintances of necessity and proximity come at the cost of constricting your personality little by little. This song is about noticing that slight rewording of the sentence, that more conservative choice of shirt, that editing of the persona that marks the tragic tendency of growing up–acknowledging your vulnerability, counting your blessings, and resolving not to rock the boat.
