Francis Lung (Wu Lyf, ffo Harry Nilsson, The Beach Boys) | Shares new single
“The Let Down” is the latest in a run of singles from the new record following the BBC 6 Music playlisted “Bad Hair Day” (now on the B-list, also tipped at The Times, Guardian, NPR, DIY, Best Fit, etc) and “Lonesome No More” which arrived in March. This new one was written on piano as opposed to guitar marking a significant change in Francis’ approach to writing. It’s sequenced as the final track on the album because it provides something of an underscoring of all the emotions and catharsis that Lung processes on the album; it’s a deeply personal record for the ex-Wu Lyf member, largely looking at mental health and his move to sobriety.

INHUMAN CONDITION release video for PAUL MAZURKIEWICZ-penned, “Killing Pace”
Earlier this year, INHUMAN CONDITION announced their arrival on the scene. The group, comprised of former MASSACRE members as well as current members of OBITUARY, THE ABSENCE, GOREGÄNG, and FORE, have since released two singles from their upcoming album, “Rat°God”, and now debut their third, entitled “Killing Pace”.
The lyrics for “Killing Pace” were written by CANNIBAL CORPSE drummer/lyricist Paul Mazurkiewicz.
Armed with wonderfully fuzzy guitars and injected with a Nirvana-esque energy, ‘I’ll Start A Fire’ is a song about causing a ruckus even while everything is going wrong, cutting bad connections and ignoring all the noise in order to be free and express ourselves honestly. Taking whatever personal power we still have and making something with it, stopping ourselves from stopping ourselves.
TESLA SHAMANS – Long-awaited album ELECTRIC STORM out today
Tesla Shamans’ singer, Steve Crow, declares: “The whole album represents an evolutionary story. Starting from a pragmatic and material circumstance to arrive at the awareness, the call of the Shaman, to which begins a more spiritual path. Parallel to the evolution of the figure of the shaman who awakens, there is also the transmission of his message and the attempt to form his tribe and to make people as well aware and immersed in social illusions.”
Diane and the Gentle Men Reveal “The World is a Goner”
“The World is a Goner” is the first single from the newest album coming from Diane and the Gentle Men. Written at home during a pandemic, she says “the song came about from looking for alternate ideas for creativity, while dancing around my house by myself in an effort to feel alive and well. We sometimes take for granted that when we are out and about on a daily basis, inspiration is endless. Being forced to stay indoors for a longer period of time allowed me to venture down a rabbit hole of podcasts, You Tube documentaries, old radio programs and television programs of yesteryear.

Curtis Harding Shares Evocative Video For New Single “Hopeful”, Watch + Listen Now
Simply calling Curtis Harding a “soul man” feels reductive. Harding’s voice conveys pain, pleasure, longing, tenderness, sadness and strength—a full gamut of emotions. Today his voice takes on an optimistic lilt in his new single “Hopeful”. Directed by photojournalist Lynsey Weatherspoon, the song’s accompanying black and white video was filmed in the West End of Atlanta and features footage of a John Lewis mural and recent Black Lives Matter protests. – Photo Credit: Matt Correia
“The album to me represents a new beginning, turning a new leaf shall we say with the same vibe from past albums but with a fresh open-minded approach,” says band leader Sal Abruscato. He adds: “There is no real concrete specific concept, it touches on some personal topics in my life long, my interest in the dark arts, that to have light you must have darkness to balance everything. With daylight comes nightfall, with heaven there is hell and at this moment the world seems to be in a very dark place hence the title of the album ‘Infernum In Terra’. This is a very dark album, but what else is new I always write dark music to soothe a dark soul!”

More information about their take on the bottle-clanking country waltz can be found exclusively at Cowboy Lifestyle Network.
MABE FRATTI RELEASES NEW SINGLE/VIDEO “EN MEDIO”
Experimental artist and composer Mabe Fratti today shared “En Medio,” the hypnotic second single from her forthcoming album Será que ahora podremos entendernos? out on June 25th via Unheard of Hope. Released alongside an otherworldly video directed by Thania Díaz and Moisés Méndez and filmed near Mexico City’s sprawling Xaltepec Volcano, “En Medio” is Fratti at her most enthralling and follows the album’s first single “Hacia el Vacío,” featuring Claire Rousay, which earned early praise and support from NPR Music’s All Songs Considered, XLR8R, BBC 6Music, and more.
Creedence Clearwater Revival’s “Fortunate Son” was written as a protest song about the Vietnam War, with lyrics that touch on the wider power structures and class dimensions behind that conflict.
In today’s context, “Fortunate Son” resonates in a different way, considering how the pain caused by the climate crisis and the coronavirus pandemic is distributed so unevenly throughout society between the haves and the have-nots.
Video: Alex Anonny ft Jae Skeese – No Concept
