SUNRISE has released the third single from the upcoming album
The third single from the ‘Equilibria’ album of Ukrainian power metal band SUNRISE is online via genre’s the biggest YouTube channel – Unknown Power Metal. “Wings Of The Dreamer” is a song in a good old-school power metal key and will be highly accepted by the fans of the Finnish scene, particularly Stratovarius adepts. It will open the upcoming ‘Equilibria’ album, which will be released on May, 25th via Music Gym Records.

The lyric video, created by videographer Max Sternlict, reflects the meaning and lyrics of the song in a distinctly unique way. The song is about a relationship that neither member is truly willing to exit, as it opens with the lines “We say that it’s breakfast, nothing more. Even though I know you want an open door so we meet at different diners.” Holding nothing back on this garage-tinged rocker, Alyssa Joseph presses her powerful voice and growling guitars to describing someone struggling to swallow the lies they tell themselves to get through the day.

ISAAC LEWIS SETS UP NEW EP ‘ INFERNO’ WITH STELLAR NEW SINGLE ‘ MOVEMENT’ // LISTEN HERE
With his upcoming EP Inferno set for release this summer, buzzing newcomer Isaac Lewis today reveals stellar new offering, ‘movement’. Speaking on the track, he states:
I wrote and recorded ‘movement’ in the winter of 2019 in upstate New York. I’d spent the last couple years on the move from city to city, and “movement” came about as a self reflection on experiences and feelings I carried through these times.
In its early versions, the song sounded way different- a lot more layers, including some pretty heavy-hitting drums. I took a step away from it for a while, and when I came back with fresh ears I realized that in order to fully tap in to the vulnerability of the song, it needed to be stripped back to only its essential layers. Doing so gave me a level of confidence in my writing, helping me to understand that if a song is written in an honest way, it doesn’t always need more than its core layers in order to sound right.

It’s testament to how fertile England’s mid-80’s musical landscape was that the splintering of short-lived post-punk pioneers Southern Death Cult seeded so many memorable but divergent groups – from widescreen rock legends The Cult to romantic pop duo Into A Circle to “the Asian Public Enemy,” Fun-Da-Mental. But the band’s most potent subsequent cross-pollination was undoubtedly Getting The Fear, formed by The SDC’s rhythm section of Barry Jepson, David ‘Buzz’ Burrows, and Aki Haq Nawaz Qureshi, joined by Temple Ov Psychic Youth associate Paul ‘Bee’ Hampshire on vocals.
