Ally Barron Releases New Single “T-Shirt”

“I wrote the song T-Shirt as a reminder to let go of toxicity in our life, whether that’s people or things. Sometimes we cope by holding on to the past, even when all it does is remind us of dark memories.I’ve come to learn that the best way to make room for the good is to let go of the bad,” shared Ally. “This song was in the making for a long time. It took a few attempts to get the production and melody perfect, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. This song is definitely my favorite from my EP, so I hope you all love it as much as I enjoyed creating it.”

Ella Rosa Reimagines “Englishman In New York”

With “Englishman in New York,” Ella breathes a new life into the track with her unique perspective as a Brit-turned-American. Speaking on the track Ella states “Sting has always been an idol of mine and when I moved to NY around the age of 12, it was sort of a culture shock for me. I thought there wouldn’t be many differences in the US culture compared to the UK culture but boy was I wrong! This record helped to put that experience into words for me.” With a signature blend of pop, soul, and R&B, Ella’s cover of Sting’s track will give new listeners a fresh & current take on the song.

JAMAICA’S PROJEXX AND BAKERSTEEZ DROP DREAMY SINGLE “BIGGA LEAGUE”

“Bigga League,” like a lot of Projexx’s best singles, finds the dancehall auteur pulling from different sounds. His cool vocals are backed by both the lush electronics of dancehall and trap’s rim-rattling basslines with a hint of R&B’s dewy emotion. It’s an appropriately boundary-pushing, anthemic sound for a song celebrating the artists’ come-up, meant to inspire others around the world to follow “bigga dreams.” For Projexx, that’s what the track is all about: motivation.

Kaelin Kost Releases New Single + Music Video “Lightning Love”

Lightning Love is a bittersweet song about a relationship that’s intense and passionate, but ultimately unstable and fleeting. I like that it comes across as a love song in feel and melody (with a hint of cassette tape nostalgia) but if you listen to the lyrics, it’s actually about something quite toxic. Hence, “drowning when the seas are rough, but when it’s calm it’s not enough.” It’s about initially thinking you have the upper hand in a relationship, but ending up fragile, vulnerable, “struck.”
