“If I Leave” came to me when thinking back on my first serious relationship. After it ended, I was not ready to deal with any unresolved feelings until I sat down to write this song.

Today, LA-based Alt-Pop artist Alt Bloom has released his new music video for his latest single “Tired,” his first single of 2021. (Watch HERE). With his deep connection to the planet and his affinity to shoot in epic outdoor settings, Ethan Thompson (aka Alt Bloom) found the perfect spot to shoot the visual for “Tired” – on a frozen lake near Mammoth in the eastern Sierras. Singing “We are living longer, but are we living at all?” Ethan pulls inspiration from the frustrating and overwhelming feeling of being ‘sick and tired’ over a relationship that went sour.
slenderbodies first emerged in 2016 with ‘sotto voce,’ a mesmerizing, eight-track EP that took its name from an Italian phrase meaning to speak softly but with emphasis. Recorded remotely with guitarist Benji Cormack living in Santa Cruz and singer/guitarist Max Vehuni residing in Los Angeles (the two had met at college a few years earlier), the collection quickly caught fire on Spotify, where it racked up millions of streams without any label or radio support. The next year, the pair returned with a second EP, ‘fabulist,’ which launched their following into the stratosphere as lead single “anemone” garnered more than 50 million plays across platforms.
Being stuck in the metropolis of Toronto during this pandemic brought upon the darker emotions of my new single. Having the city lights in view while feeling like you’re helplessly floating farther away created this weird disconnect, one that I compared to drifting through space-time.

Cutting a blazing path through the Brooklyn rap scene with his brash demeanor, DUSTY LOCANE makes major waves with every release. Hosting a heavyweight bout in his home borough, DUSTY shares the video for “RUMBLE,” his latest single. With over 58.5 million streams across streaming platforms, the BlazinBeatz-produced “RUMBLE” is an excellent demonstration of the qualities that have DUSTY rising in NYC and beyond, as he uses his sonorous booming basso to craft aggressive and pugilistic witticisms: “I’m a demon on the loose/Benz, Beamer, or the coupe?” Directed by David Janoff, who directed DUSTY’s recent video for “INTRO 2 ME, PT. 1,” “RUMBLE”is an action-packed look into the world of DUSTY LOCANE, focusing its action on a boxing match between “The Brooklyn Suvy” and “The Polish Punisher,” while DUSTY spends his downtime with rip-roaring foreign cars and beautiful women.
Today, Graham Sharp, the singer/banjoist, chief songwriter, and founding member of the GRAMMY-winning Steep Canyon Rangers, shares the video for “Truer Picture of Me,” from his solo debut, Truer Picture. The album’s digital release is set for May 7, with CD and LP to follow July 9, on Yep Roc Records.
Directed and edited by Graham’s son, the video for the album’s second single, “Truer Picture of Me,” is out today. Of the track, Sharp says, “This is a love song. The more I sing it the more it hits me and makes me want to sing it again. It feels like sitting around a fire and being reminded of the spark that lit it and every log that burned down and still keeps us warm. It’s a rare, wonderful freedom to feel understood.”
She says of the track, “‘Out My Face’ was initially a hip hop beat, I wasn’t intending to make a party trap track at all to be honest. A lot of the times when I produce I never really have a fleshed out idea, I tend to go with the flow with my creativity and get inspired by songs I’m listening to at the time or even styles and techniques from producers I admire which then filters through into the song I’m creating.”
