BX’s Ron Suno Extends His Winning Streak With Sheff G in a New Video

“You know the f*ckin’ vibes,” says Bronx rapper Ron Suno at the start of many of his tracks, and for many fans it’s true–only Suno can provide such a seamless blend of hard-hitting raps and incisive comedic chops. Today, Suno shares “Winners,” a fiery new collab with Brooklyn figurehead Sheff G. A kinetic drill anthem, “Winners” is an excellent showcase for Suno’s locked-in flow and snappy lyricism, as he combines tough-talking boasts with quips that undercut his bravado: “I can’t wait ’til we catch ’em, we get ’em/Leave in the Buick, I hop out the Civic,” he spits. Meanwhile, Sheff G shows why he’s one of the most exciting rappers in NYC, matching Suno’s rapidfire flow and occasionally delivering his rhymes in a foreboding whisper.

Eivør (Asgeir, Wardruna, The Last Kingdom) new video out now

Faroese folk electronica artist Eivør today releases a music video and new live version of ‘Gulspunnin’, lifted from her latest album ‘Segl’, out now. Produced by Lana Del Rey collaborator Dan Heath, ‘Gulspunnin’ is Copenhagen-based Eivør’s love letter to her childhood home on the remote Faroe Islands. ‘Segl’ – featuring appearances from Ásgeir and Einar Selvik of Wardruna – is the follow-up to Eivør’s widely-praised 2017 UK commercial debut, ‘Slør’, which triggered her debut on Later….With Jools Holland. Eivør soundtracked the latest series of Netflix/BBC flagship The Last Kingdom, and her music has previously been synched on Homeland & Game Of Thrones.

In 2001, Jeff Carlson was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, as well as Crohn’s disease. He had fallen ill, and was rushed to the hospital to have emergency surgery, where he actually died for almost three minutes on the operating table. He then underwent four more surgeries, and still continues to deal with both of these diseases today. Carlson says, “I thank God every day that I’m above ground, because life is too precious not to do what you love. This new record was written for everybody out there who is faced with challenges that life throws at you, and you keep going. It’s like one of my heroes Rocky Balboa has said-“life’s not about how hard you get hit…it’s about how hard you get hit and keep going!” “Yesterday’s Gone” was written with that frame of mind….hope.
