Sound of Music Nostalgia for your Valentine’s Day Playlist

“This enchanting Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews duet instantly captured my heart. Two characters falling in love in the midst of a troubled world. Fraulein Maria and Captain Von Trapp find solace through love within a crumbling world, as fascism rises around them. In this cover, I played classical guitar, organ, and a shruti box to create a gentle, swelling atmosphere in support of the tender lyrics. This song has always pulled at my heart strings, so I couldn’t help but lend my voice to it. I could not believe it when I heard of Christopher Plummer’s passing after recording and deciding on a release date. I am humbled to have recorded this song unknowingly in his honor.” – Mima Good

notes. “We have all these grand plans and then something else happens and it can become even better than you planned.”

Glitterer Shares Upcoming Album’s Title Track, “Life Is Not A Lesson” – Watch New Video Now

“The song “Life Is Not A Lesson” came about halfway through the writing process,” Russin explained. “I borrowed the line from a recently-written-yet-unused lyric. It seemed like the sentiment in the song answered a lot of the questions that earlier songs had brought up, and the further along the album went it just felt right to title the album after this lyric and its solution. It summed up succinctly what I was trying to say all along: life is not a lesson to be learned.”

Typhoon shares video for “Evil Vibes” | Sympathetic Magic LP out now

“This is life now,” says the band’s frontman Kyle Morton. “You eat a slice of cake and maybe you enjoy it. An algorithm somewhere observes this and serves you another slice of cake. I like cake, you think, and you eat the second slice. It goes on like this for a long time – the cakes getting bigger, the frosting ever more elaborate. After a while you start to feel sick, but all you’ve ever known is eating cake, and anyway this restaurant doesn’t seem to serve anything else. So you just keep eating.”

BUZZING ARTIST RENCE RELEASES OFFICIAL VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “ENDLESS”

“This song tries to grapple with big questions about my place within the world and the universe. It attempts to come to grips with how fame and success affect someone, and how one changes over time, especially as each day begins to feel like the last. Though I started this song long ago, it was brought to conclusion during these last few months, which I have felt the most ‘endless’ period of my life so far. Months passed by both quickly and incredibly slowly, and that duality only raised more questions. Inevitably, however, the answers to these questions don’t come – the questions themselves are endless. But we keep on, determined to stick.” – RENCE
