Moonlight Social Share Eclectic Video + Single for “What Do You Want From Me?”

Eclectic duo Moonlight Social are kicking off the New Year with their stellar new single and lyric video for “What Do You Want From Me?”

Another bold and unique song from the group, the song will take you away as it fills the room and your ears with a blissful melody that is placed throughout. With catchy hooks, incredible rhythm and vocals that will blow you away with heavy and relatable lyricism that flows throughout.

The Texas-born, Nashville raised duo is formed by Jeremy Burchard and Jennica Scott, longtime best friends who met as members of The University of Texas Longhorn Band (Burchard as a member of the drum line, Scott as a trumpet player). The duo cut their teeth on the road, playing hundreds of shows out of their home base of Austin, Texas, and in 2016 they relocated to Nashville, Tennessee.

Bringing a thematic, energetic live show, the band has played hundreds of shows across dozens of states and continues to release catchy, thoughtful, genre-bending music.

The group shares:
“We wrote this song at one of the lowest points of the year for us, personally. We both tested positive for COVID-19 and it really upended a lot of things. Jennica postponed her wedding; Jeremy lost out on some really important creative opportunities. After about a week, Jeremy finally felt decent enough to hold a guitar again and this riff is what came out. He sent a snippet to Jennica, who was isolating in Texas, and the wheels started turning. By the time she got back to Nashville, we literally couldn’t think about anything besides finishing this song. It really helped us get through a tough time and we’re just so thankful for it. It’s really been fun to truly embrace who we are creatively, and you can clearly hear how much pop punk has influenced us throughout our years.”
