Wacotron Prepares for “Take Off” With an Ethereal, Southside-Produced Banger

Blessed with a natural charisma, Wacotron is winning fans in Texas and beyond with his drawly delivery and polished bars. Contemplating the philosophical implications of his impending success, Wacotron shares “Take Off,” his hard-hitting and ethereal new single. Produced by Southside & Topp, who provide frosty synthesizers and speaker-knocking percussion, “Take Off” is packed with Wacotron’s hard-earned wisdom, gleaned from his years on the grind. Cutting through the icy atmosphere with a steady flow, Wacotron reflects on overcoming his hardship and dwells on the strangeness of blowing up during a pandemic: “It just took a lil minute but I made my momma proud/Really miss my n****s know they watchin’ in the clouds/I just elevated I can’t wait to rock the crowd/Perfected every flow that way they f*ckin’ with the sound.” In the video, directed by The Shooters, Wacotron rocks the freshest winter coat you’ve ever seen as he pontificates in a bank vault in the presence of a pallet of Benjamins.

Regarding MIXED EMOTIONS, Jack says, “This album represents the ups-and-downs of the past five years of my life. I know others have gone through what I have, and I want to share my story so they feel more comfortable with theirs. When I was at my lowest point, these songs helped me get through it, and I hope that they can do the same for others.”

Jon Foreman Shares “Side by Side (feat. Madison Cunningham)” Song & Video Out Today; “Departures” out 2/12

“Why do I pretend to be something that I’m not? What am I running from? What am I hiding? Maybe death can offer some perspective. Yes, friends and enemies: we will all be buried side by side. The deep offenses the past: buried. The anger, the pain: buried. The pride and shame, all of it: buried. Side by side. How can I see today for what it really is? How can I see myself for who I really am? Sometimes I see a beauty that shines through the moment. It’s a light that shines through in spite of me. It’s not a beauty that I can conjure up, rather, it’s a light that shines through without effort. I see it in the sunset; I see it in children; I see it even in the ones who might call me the enemy. And this beauty, this joyful abundance is most evident when I am able to embrace the gift of the moment.” – Jon Foreman

Jeremy Garrett brings funky, edgy roots vibe to “Wishing Well”

On “Wishing Well,” Organic Records’ Jeremy Garrett sounds like an artist with his soul on fire. Following the lyric-centered minimalism of “The World Keeps Turning Around,” the new single is another foray into the technological wizardry that ties together his studio work and live appearances, utilizing layered loops of guitar and mandolin to create a funky bed for powerfully emotive vocals and edgy, wailing fiddle. The result is an intense performance that sounds more like an entire band than just one musician.

Over the last few years Norwegian artist Tuva Hellum Marschhäuser – who records under the moniker Tuvaband – has proven herself a master of crafting songs that capture a special atmosphere in her sound, paint a shapeshifting world of burning emotion, and music that spellbinds.

Tuvaband’s debut album Soft Drop (2018) saw her writing songs that were airy, ghostly and effortlessly cinematic, while its follow-up, 2019’s I Entered The Void (which earned a nomination for a Norwegian Grammy) pushed her sound into rougher, heavier atmospheric rock. But what unites all her music is its raw intensity – her songs have fires inside them, and listening is like being pulled into the flame. With her new album Growing Pains & Pleasures (out 5/21/21), she’s set to take her songwriting to new levels and to adventurously push the boundaries of her musical world.

Tony Davia from the band describes “Narcissist” as “Wanting to be in someone’s mind & thoughts so badly that you don’t care if it’s with positive or negative associations”. Co produced with Zach Fogarty who’s credits including Jean Dawson’s acclaimed recent album “Pixel bath”, Roy Blair, Denzel Curry and Girlpool amongst others.

It’s everything we are as a band – Anthemic, massive drums, epic fills, loud guitars, soaring solos, huge vocals, unreal high notes, strong melodies and a hook that you can’t get out of your head. SPACE CADET Release New Song/Video for “Bad Luck”

Space Cadet happened by accident. Friends of almost 25 years, Dave Walsh and Matt Hock had each been writing and recording eerily similar songs, completely oblivious to each other’s work. What’s all the more surprising is that it wasn’t the punk of The Explosion (Virgin, Jade Tree), the band they formed together with friends in 1998. Instead, the music was indicative of other sounds they’re into – post-punk, new wave, Brit Rock – not to mention their shared obsession with guitar pedals. From their respective homes of Clinton, Massachusetts and Brooklyn, Dave and Matt have created lush soundscapes (“Forever for a While,” “Safe and Sound”), dark synth dirges (“No Accident,” “Lose Control”) and anxious anthems (“Scream for You”).

Jeris Johnson releases debut EP “My Sword”

Today, genre blending sensation Jeris Johnson releases his debut EP, My Sword. The bold and burgeoning artist showcases his one of a kind rock-pop sound with six stellar tracks of raw energy, gritty melodies and unapologetic emotions. Jeris is cementing himself as a one-to-watch as he redefines genres, pushes boundaries and creates a whole new sonic wave. Coined ‘future grunge,’ Jeris Johnson is already breaking into unchartered territory with the construction of his own genre.

A thick and distorted riff powers “Peach” as the song dips in and out of a chugging groove and hypnotic vocals from singer and guitarist Pete Loeffler. After an explosive, yet entrancing scream, this barrage spirals out into spacey soloing. It only hints at the controlled and catchy aggression of NIRATIAS though.

Nova Miller releases the music video for “Timing”

Today, Nova Miller, is back with a brand new music video for her single “Timing,” – watch here. The glowing, pastel-hued music video for “Timing” is an upbeat and lighthearted visual that embodies the song’s fun energy. In the “Timing” video, Nova dances along to the catchy song and also breaks it down on her guitar. “Timing” is a mid-tempo track that not only features Nova’s signature killer vocals, but the relatable message of not being able to get the timing right in a relationship. This video is a breath of fresh air and there is certainly more to come from this star on the rise!

Sidibe Releases New Song “Breathwork” Today

“I’ve been practicing holotropic breathwork for years. It has been a transformative experience that has led to so many insights about my place in this universe. When we breathe together with intention, the synchronization creates a powerful bond and awakens our awareness of belonging. The past year has been challenging on so many levels.” Hannah explains, on her new track “Breathwork”. “Practicing breathwork helped me through some dark times and really opened my heart to deep feelings of love and unity. Writing about that outpouring of love seemed natural. “Breathwork” is an expression of my need and desire to relate to other people. That is one of the reasons I love making music – it gives me a way to infiltrate other people’s lives and connect with them. When people listen to the song, I hope they will feel connected to me too.”
